Jags just lost, so all the teams ahead of us in the draft order lost except the Pats. Like I figured, very little if any movement in our draft slot.

If we go down and kick the winning FG, that is on the the Falcons HC. That was piss poor clock management by him.

Browns, Giants and Titans are top of the order right now. Awaiting the Jags (in OT) and Pats games to end.

Older and injuries issues is why he didn't go higher. Think Penix.

Yes, our run defense is horrific, but the difference in pass defense between these two teams is negligible.

The Titans are going to lose, everyone is finding themselves in a dog fight.

All the teams ahead of us in the draft order are losing in the 4th quarter except the Pats, up by 1 point. I don't think that will hold though. I don't see much movement, if any, after today.

On the first point, agreed, but older rookies are taboo for some reason. I honestly don't get it. On the second point, our bad defense aside, the ball placement, timing and decision making all look good.

This draft? No way! The guy on the other side of the ball is showing rookie QBs can compete at high level though. It's not a given they have to struggle. It's just a baked in excuse if they do look horrid.

Penix is looking strong. He's had a ton of drops today too. Not looking like a rookie only playing a few games.

He can't with pressure in front of him. That's the reason he likes deep drops so he can get the correct trajectory on the ball. When he has to get the ball over the head of a 6'3"+ player directly in front of him, he has to angle the ball more upwardly than he would like and thus creates overthrows.

I liked him. Obviously Atlanta did too. Over-drafted a hurt QB and while spending big time on a FA QB. I know the Raiders were bummed. It was revealed that Penix was their draft target. I guess they were as stunned as everyone else when Atlanta took him so high. Obviously Nix went to the Broncos and the Raiders were left high and dry on the QB front.

Only a few more hours until we will be in full draft mode. I don't understand why I get excited for this time of year, we always fug it up. I guess it's like the start of the season, misguided optimism.

Beating the Falcons is always a feel good win. I can't stand them. I honestly don't understand the notion that either the Saints or Bucs are bigger rivals than Atlanta. Some people think so though.

The reason I chuckled when we won the Cardinals game and people were bent out of shape that it "ruined" our draft position. I wouldn't be mad if we traded back, TBH.

He'll should be a 2nd, a late first if he has an impressive showing in drills. Somebody will reach for him higher though . If the Titans take a QB and the Raiders are left in no mans land again like last year (Penix was their target)...there's your huckleberry.

LTs are the second hardest position to play on offense other than QB. While Ickey isn't perfect, trying to replace him with a cheaper option that's just as good will be a tough order.

Milroe did declare after a shaky season, so the above post is pretty much accurate as far as the top guys available. Milroe, Ewers and Beck are going to be big time reaches for some teams. I'm glad it won't be us.
