Bryce couldnt set the world on fire with the 49ers, the dude just doesnt have what it takes to play QB in the NFL. You can put all of that out of your head. Stroud, Richardson, or Levis were all better picks than Bryce simply because they have the required physical attributes to play in the NFL. We already know what we have at QB, nothing.

If he doesnt I doubt it is the OLs fault. Bryce creates most of his own problems. You cant drop back 10 yards out of the pocket or hold the ball for an eternity in the NFL.

He looks like that because the poo he did in college does not work in the NFL. He has those same dudes in front of him, but he cant drop back as far as he did in college or its going to be a sack 9 times out of 10. He never played within the system, dropped back one read start dancing and find an open dude has always been his game. He is not nearly elusive or fast enough for that poo to work in the NFL. We know Canales system works as we seen Baker perform in it, We know Reich can have success in his system as we seen him get Carson Wentz to throw for like 27 TDs with 7 ints. That weak link here is Bryce, he cannot run a NFL system.

Imagine trading up to #1 for a guy that has average speed and agility at best and then have to become a run first team in a pass happy league. Oh yea this guy also cant operate under center so you have to be a run heavy team from shotgun or pistol. Good times....

Hard to see much on O when your starting QB looks like he should be playing on the JV team. Defense was garbage as expected, it wasnt very good last season either, people just got obsessed with the YPG stat.

Yea if we had stayed at 9 and acquired him organically he would already have been replaced and we have a different coach and GM. No one else was signing up for Bryce year 2 after seeing him in action for a full NFL season.

Its hard to bounce back when everything was changed except for the biggest problem......We dont have a QB.

He was never considered an elite pocket passer, he was drafted because they thought he was the next Wilson. He always played school yard bullshit, he never threw the ball in rhythm, thats what elite pocket passers do, when they plant their back foot in the drop back the ball comes out.

Hell give them some reps with anyone.....any number of practice squad guys could put a better product on the field than whatever garbage we saw today.
