  1. Good post. But, personally, I would've ripped my shirt open and asked him if my chest was ample.
  2. He clearly has evidence of Goodell getting buttfuged or something. This dude has done everything - sexual harassment, racism, creating and fostering a hostile work environment, embezzlement, stealing, maintaining a culture so toxic that it got a coach from another team fired , etc., and he still has a fuging team. Meanwhile, Goodell pulled some strings and had JR dismissed for just a fraction of what that asshole has done and is still doing, so he could give us grapes for balls Tepper.
  3. He also just said they purposely avoided Russ in SEA after the Senior Bowl because they knew they were going to take him and didn't want teams picking up on it. Hard to really evaluate anything draft-wise at this point.
  4. Man, this is tough to watch. You know when you heard a pitch initially and it sounded great, but then you come back and talk with that person again and you can tell you're listening to a con man and want to bail immediately? Yeah, he's a joke.
  5. Wasn't Orlovsky caping for Sam last year? I appreciate his ability to break down Xs and Os, but he can keep his QB analyses.
  6. Which is why these moves make no sense unless they were going to trade for a big name this offseason. Why create cap if you aren't gonna use it?
  7. Is this like the "can't wait to coach Cam Newton" thing? I hope so. fug Sam Darnold.
  8. Matt Rhule is trying to say Cam wants to play for a winner AND have a chance to play, and I don't think we're offering the ideal situation for either of those criteria. Cam knows Rhule is an idiot college coach, and as far as playing, we have probably only guaranteed him the ability to start early until whoever we draft is ready... and if I'm Cam, after Rhule sat me to end the season in favor of Sam, I'm not coming back.
  9. Yeah, but it's all about the frame. Corral's 212 lbs looks a lot different than the other two guys at similar weight.
  10. I really like the prospect of trading back and picking up a second, but I'm almost certain if we do, we aren't getting Willis. So, I'm torn. On one hand, it seems like an easy decision, because if we trade back, I'm cool with taking Corral and drafting a OL or edge in the second and feel like we just made out like bandits... but in the other hand, I feel like if Willis figures it out in the pros, you can use him in so many different ways and is much more dynamic, so if we were able to draft him, he has the highest ceiling and purest superstar potential out of the QBs. It's a tough dilemma. If we were in the Top 3, I 2ouldnt hesitate to trade back to 7-ish and feel confident we'd get that 2nd rounder and still get Willis. Trading back from 6, I just don't see us getting him. I like Corral as a pure passer - great arm, beautiful release, and he is no doubt athletic, but he is also extremely slight and I dont trust his durability at all... he won't present the problems and dynamism that Willis does.
  11. I think using CMC more in the slot or as a receiver would be the best option obviously, but honestly, I don't think this strategy is possible. Number one, in the past CMC has been vocal and adamant that he is a RB. He does not want to be a receiver or labeled as anything other than a RB. And number two, Deebo is super physical. And yes, he has sustained some injuries during his career, but he is much more stout and more physical as a runner. He's more likely to run through contact versus elude it, as CMC does.
  12. Pictured are cool and all, but I will never get hyped again off CMC's potential. Show me you can play a full season first, or even half of one. His potential and ability is meaningless when he can't stay on the field. And I've said it repeatedly since last season, but I will be thoroughly surprised if he ever plays a a full season, or even the majority of one again. When guys start piling up non-contact injuries, their bodies are signaling they can't stand up to the rigors of baseline activity, let alone the wear and tear of NFL games, and there isn't much you can do to prevent it at this point.
  13. Not sure what the story is with the gun, but if it was weed he was caught with, that charge is irrelevant.
  14. Philly now recruiting Gilmore too. His wife confirmed as well.
  15. I feel the same way, and at least I feel like I got some degree of closure in him coming back, but Rhule ruined what should've been a storybook comeback. I'm just glad he got to come back and feel the love from us fans and knows where we stand, and now he gets to make the decision on what happens next on his own terms. I'll always love me some Cam.
  16. I know there's a lot of smoke and mirrors going on this time of year, so, despite Fitt being one of the most straightforward GMs I have ever seen or heard, we can't take everything at face value. That being said, I am disappointed to hear that there's no immediate trades on the horizon. If we were trying to deal Darnold, we clearly had a much bigger plan in mind.
  17. I'm thinking restructuring CMC plus the urgency to dump off Darnold this offseason means we're going after an established star, MVP-potential QB... I could only think of Carr off the top of my head, but this would be on par, of not better than that. I'm certain it's gonna be Murray or Carr. We're not moving that money for other positions bc we could fill those holes with the money we already had... it's gotta be a big name QB we're still going after.
  18. Ehh, Alexander seems to be pretty knowledgeable and I believe has a good "in" to Cam's camp. If anything last week taught me, there's a whole lotta garbage on Twitter, and I lost a lot of confidence in what the blue checks are supposed to signify, but Alexander is a legit, very good reporter.
  19. Well, I agree. I speculated in my other reply to snake, that I can't fathom what we would need the cap space for unless they are working on a trade for another established QB before the draft... I also mentioned how Fitt said our plan last year was to always fill our needs in FA so when the draft comes around we can just draft BPA. And then, even with the current cap space we have, we could still sign a guy like Clowney, re-sign Gilly, etc., so the only reason it makes sense to get Darnold off the books immediately is if we are trying absorb a bigger contract... the only guy I can think of that would be worth that, IMO, who was rumored to be available at various times the last two seasons is Derek Carr. If we trade for him, I will cream my effing pants.
  20. I asked him on Twitter yesterday, and I was a bit surprised by his response in contrast to the rumors we were hearing that he already had an offer from us and was just waiting to let everything else play out... the whispers in the other thread sounded like it was likely. Can't say I blame Cam considering who we have as coach, but I would've loved to see what he could do behind a legit OL with a legit OC calling plays.
  21. This is what concerns me about the push to get Darnold off the books now... Teddy was a bad investment, but could've been a useful one had they just ate their mistake after the first season, kept him as a mentor and drafted Fields or just waited to draft a guy this year. But nope, they knew they flubbed so they scrambled to get rid of Teddy and in their haste, compounded the original problem by trading for Sam's sorry ass and trying to make a reclamation project out of him when everyone with two eyes and a brain knew he sucked. And now, here we are again... instead of just eating that salary for one more year, we're talking about trading assets to get rid of him now. As I said in another post, if they have another move for an established, proven QB (requiring that cap space immediately) that I'm not seeing, I don't understand the point. Send him away from the team, release him, idgaf... his NFL career is probably over, he won't be playing here anymore, and he's in his last contract year, so why trade something to get rid of him unless you have a greater plan? I mean who realistically is out there they would need that space for now to upgrade the position? All the other spots of question, I think they could fill with the current cap space with Darnold on the roster. So what am I missing? Daniel Jones? Jalen Hurts? Maybe Derek Carr? That would be dope. I will say, I think it was Fitt last season that said the goal is to fill all your needs before the draft so when the draft comes around, you can draft the BPA. If they find a way to magically fill QB before that and we get a LT, that would be amazing, but I'm not seeing it...
  22. I'm just saying, at this point in FA, I'm not sure where that extra 18M would go wisely with what's left out there? We already have the most cap space in the NFL after the CMC restructure, and haven't spent much of it. With all of that space, there's been no movement at LT, in bringing Gilmore back, adding another (new) safety, or adding edge rush help to help with Reddick's departure. I just don't see the urgency in needing that cap space right now... Not unless there's another big move for a QB we're not seeing?
