Bama just happens to have better athletes and players than almost everyone they play, so it makes the QB look a lot better than they actually are. I think Bruce's ceiling is somewhere between Andy Dalton and Mac Jones.

Part of the reason I didn't want Bryce was because according to the advanced stats, he had the lowest completion pct to sideline throws of all the draftable QB prospects in the draft. And iirc, it was by a lot. So everything being condensed and focused over the middle may be by design... whatever the reason, the plays look like poo, the blocking looks like poo, and Bryce looks like poo. I don't want to hear poo about him being a rookie - fuging Brock Purdy came into playoff-level football and didn't miss a fuging beat last year. Bryce is playing like ass.
