  1. It’s amazing the tackle situation the fans have screamed for all year is better than what they were doing isn’t it? That’s pretty embarrassing. We really are inching closer and closer to Fox and rivera days.
  2. Honestly I think this is the first team I’ve seen start a rebuild with WRs and CBs while throwing a ‘maybe’ QB in there to get mauled. It’s a weird route to go seeing as the oline will take longer and is harder to build than anything else…you’d think they’d at least start there with one player. I guess a 3rd round pick in 2 years is kind of a start for 5 positions.
  3. Believe it or not, statistically this year is worse by about 3 spots (that 2014 oline was ranked 22 this one 25). Of course that was before this latest game… You’re looking at competition for the worst in the NFL…and worst in Panthers Franchise history.
  4. I said the exact same thing last week. Brady is lazy/complacent and it’s a result of CMC. Anyone watching the games can see the same repetitive routes/lining up.
  5. It was a 5th year option. Had they not taken it and wanted to resign him they’d be on the hook for a multi year contract. So, they actually side stepped being stuck with Darnold. And being sure about him with two years of play before resigning instead of one. They did choose the safer option. No problem with it. The only less harmful option requires hindsight, in that Darnold isn’t extended, then fails, then walks. But at that point why would you trade a second for a guy you don’t believe in enough for two years? They chose the best option.
  6. Tep has the money, hire HELP. Top oline scouts, whatever. It’s clear those in the building are incompetent, bringing in trash and calling it a day.
  7. i’ve been going to games since 1999 and it’s a rollercoaster after 2003 up until Jake meltdown in 2008, it was actually really good also from about 2013-2016 it was really good and if you’ve ever been to a playoff game in Charlotte, it’s the loudest most hardcore fans you’ll ever see in any stadium (and I’ve been to 10 other stadiums) Reality is, without back to back winning seasons and losing overall…the fans aren’t going to show up and pay $ for that poo JR was a business man he wasn’t interested in wins above revenue, fans won’t respond to that, despite sending out heartfelt ‘didn’t know it would be THIS bad’ letters to them honestly I don’t blame people for not showing up consistently
  8. the irony lol Eagles just proved why this is the case
  9. But doesn’t that makes sense when you delicate and entire draft, first in NFL history, to the defense and chase high end defensive FAs…?
  10. Not until he gets the same results while putting out a good product. Again, losing to the 1-3 Eagles is not that. If business is good while your product fails please articulate any reason to change? This basically defines/contributed to the Browns culture for the past four decades btw.
  11. no, he would not, god damn you cam stans you realize the oline is worse this year than in Cams entire 9 year career here? then the fact his shoulder is shot and should be trying out in the NBA for dribbling skills he is posting interviews with his dad and in a shirtless alburn cheering club without a NFL team for a reason…no man, no
  12. Wasn’t it Elfein who said this isn’t the Carolina MccAffreys? And yet…it is.
  13. didn’t you JUST make a thread stating if the Panthers wanted to be a playoff team they needed to beat the Eagles? Lol
  14. Not when your average is 6 wins for the past four years all while starting the season with decent records. But in the end it’s not about the first four games rather than the past 4 years, you need to win in general to change a culture.
  15. This isn’t Cleveland where losing is a novelty. Give Panther fans a reason to spend money and go out to the stadium instead of watching on TV. Losing to a 1-3 Eagles isn’t going to do it.
  16. As I said when it happened Paradis should’ve never been signed for top 5/10 pay. Luckily this should be his last year. As for why more hasn’t been done besides BC…not sure.
  17. Possibly but QBs don’t exactly grow on trees. Look at options last year…Fields, Wilson (trade up)? what was the choice? Stafford would’ve been great but he didn’t want to play. It’s not like we are not seizing opportunities. Sam will do for now.
  18. Yea you do. One game out of 17. Defense is built and has experience. You get to pick and choose with all teh FAs brought in. Fit isn’t scared to make moves. Compare holes from past to now. We have oline, LB, and safety. Maybe QB depending but we had then we cam became flaccid anyways.
  19. People forget this is still good, tending upward, and in line with Rhule’s rebuild. These records are a good thing. The Panthers average like 6 wins the pst four year lol. Need more time.
  20. At least BC is a rookie and can grow, we’ve been seeing the ceiling's of the trash they put out there thus far. They are forced to address the interior next year with Paradis gone. Unless he somehow gets resigned in which case kill me now.
  21. Sam, the below average QB, has most rushing TDs of any qb in the league and most in history after 4 games lol Stop telling on yourself. Sam is clearly average at worst. It’s a matter if he can improve.
