  1. Agreed I dont particularly want to trade up for Richardson but if we have to we have to.
  2. Overhyping non contested throws again Let me see how well he throws it when he has linemen and linebackers facing him down and corners blitzing him. We have plenty of that tape, and he was one of the worst QBs in college against the blitz.
  3. Tried clowning James Bradberry after he admitted that he held JuJu, the entire league basically poo on him in his comments for it and basically said he didnt do poo all season and got carried to the ring.
  4. Passing on JuJu especially after how he acted after the superbowl
  5. Not sure I particularly like the play-in idea but I love the best of three format if it was for the entirety and not just the first round. Though the play-in did inject some good late season drama for the NBA.
  6. Yeah and they're consistently either getting bumped from the playoffs or miss the playoffs entirely because they cant build a team around him because of his contract. The most valuable thing in the NFL is a GREAT quarterback on a Rookie deal
  7. I love Jackson I don't love Jackson for the 2 first round picks and 40 million/year contract we'll have to give him. I'd rather just trade the picks and get a guy thats younger and has the potential to be as good as Jackson. There's more nuance to football than just plugging in player A to spot A, they get paid, they get traded, teams have to give up compensation. If we could just sign Jackson then sure, maybe, but having to give up atleast 2 first round picks for him AND signing him to a ridiculous contract is just too much when we still have holes to fill on this team.
  8. "pro ready" levis who can't handle being blitzed
  9. 1. Trade up to #1 for Stroud 2. Trade up to #3 for Stroud or Young if either of them fall during the draft 3. Take Richardson at 9 4. Resign Sam and see if Frank can coach up Sam or Corral 5. Sign Carr, I have this at 5 because of his contract size, not because of his talent. 6. I don't want any of the other poo, no to trading for fields, no to trading for Jackson even though he's the best QB available, no to drafting Will Levis
  10. Why would we trade for the 3rd pick before the draft lol It makes no sense to move up to 3 before the draft when we don't know whose going to be there, best we can do is work out a deal with the team at 3 if our guy is there we'll do the deal. Thats why Im just all in for trading with the Bears, get Stroud and call it a day. People can cry about losing first round picks but have spent the last 4 years crying about our first round picks anyway.
  11. Sad to see but kind of expected it considering how little playing time he got at the end of last season.
  12. Probably Reich while Brown learns
  13. Your post is lazy Reich would be the reason, not Tepper
  14. I don't mind Carr but I am definitely worried about his contract potentially
  15. Not just a quarterback, a quarterback who is willing to put his career on the line to do whatever it takes to win the game. The toughness of Patrick Mahomes cannot be understated.
  16. This whole idea that you shouldn't call the penalty there is the problem. If this is a penalty week 1 in the 1st quarter, it should be a penalty in the superbowl on the last drive. This notion that the game is too big for the rules to be enforced is insane. You guys want refs to be perfect, but then want them to not call poo just because its an important game and the call is "weak" is trash. Call the games the same, fug out of here.
  17. I really hope we go up and get him, I dont care about next years picks.
  18. They're trying to trade Plumlee, why would you bench him. Thats the dumbest thing you could possibly do if you want to get value out of him.
  19. That contract will be irrelevant when he gets released next week
  20. You're delusional if you think Jones is in any league near Derek Carr...
  21. Meh, this is literally just two douchebags playing a game. If Rhules Nebraska contract wasnt backloaded in salary Tepper wouldn't owe him anything, but because his contract escalates every year from 5 million to 12 million by the end then Tepper ends up owing him because of the first few seasons being below what he was being paid here. He's basically suing to get a free 5 million from Tepper even though his Nebraska contract per year is higher than the one he signed here.
  22. Carr is much more likely, but I think they just draft a QB and roll with Darnold for a season
