  1. Well if you think that was a back injury I don't know what else to say. Wouldn't be the first time a doctor associated with the NFL did the wrong thing...
  2. Well prepare to be shocked. I posted it in another thread, but this is pretty cut and dry. From the NFL's website on concussion protocol Required an evaluation for all players demonstrating gross motor instability (e.g., stumbling or falling to the ground when trying to stand) to determine the cause of the instability. If the team physician, in consultation with the sideline UNC, determines the instability to be neurologically caused, the player is designated a "No-Go" and may not return to play.
  3. Why would anyone want to trade for Darnold when they can sign any QB off the street to be awful?
  4. From the NFL protocol Required an evaluation for all players demonstrating gross motor instability (e.g., stumbling or falling to the ground when trying to stand) to determine the cause of the instability. If the team physician, in consultation with the sideline UNC, determines the instability to be neurologically caused, the player is designated a “No-Go” and may not return to play. So unless you really think it was back injury, they violated the protocol.
  5. Regardless of the hit last night, it looks like a clear cut violation of the NFL's policy. If a player loses their balance after a hit like Tua did in the previous game, they're supposed to be done for the rest of the game. We don't know if that hit made him more susceptible to last night's, but they definitely broke the rules. These guys have to be protected from themselves.
  6. They have talent on offense. Teddy's just not good enough to win even if he was surrounded with the best talent. Not the worst, but definitely nowhere near a franchise QB. The only team that was dumb enough to think so was the Panthers.
  7. Well if the Dolphins are stuck with Teddy their season is essentially over. He's not the worst QB out there, but he's not good enough either.
  8. That's honestly the biggest problem. Dude is going to have to retire soon if he's not careful.
  9. Presuming that Tua is out for an extended period, they should see what they got in that rookie. He showed some flashes in preseason. Teddy is what he is.
  10. Then he'd just have to overcome his accuracy issues and decision making issues.
  11. Hill and Waddle has to be the best WR duo in the NFL
  12. Looked like a rugby scrum on that score
  13. Those helmets do look more like a zebra than a bengal
  14. I'm predicting a Dolphins win tonight. Bengals have the Super Bowl loser curse this year.
  15. They let Russ cook and he brought a crock pot.
  16. That's true, but depending on how much pressure is coming, the time it takes for a drop back with a play action fake can take longer. To me the most obvious thing is getting CMC involved on those short little dump off passes. Why doesn't Baker have an option to dump off to CMC as a safety valve like Darnold did in the 1st 3 games last year? You can't blitz every play if you're anticipating that.
  17. What about the Jake extension after the Arizona playoff implosion? Then he comes out week 1 next season and has the same exact performance. That's gotta be the worst.
  18. He has a throw every once in a while that looks great. It just doesn't happen nearly often enough.
  19. Yea I could see it. We've had Arizona's number for a while. Maybe its still payback for Jake's luck running out in that playoff game.
  20. Man it sucks that Buck and Aikman do MNF now.
