-
Bro.....come on. You can't just believe everything. They've won 1 game. Of course the vibes are off and tensions are up. Not even saying he's wrong about how people have felt since Tepper got here but....everything else is just the exact right things to say to get rage.

I want to know how the hell the chef knows about the football coaching staff hiring process. and who wanted who LOL. Bunch of bullshit.

RB Coach Duce Staley and QB Coach Josh McCown fired
PanthersGTI replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
He isn't sold on Bryce period. That's not going to change unless Bryce produces. Most people can see that the team is so trash you can't judge him without getting him into a better scenario ASAP, but some have decided his fate. Not saying he will, because fug if I know, but I wonder if that same "he's too small" energy stays if he balls out next year? He sure as hell has shown the be durable at least. -
RB Coach Duce Staley and QB Coach Josh McCown fired

100% it was known that they really just let Cam be Cam. Which was amazing, I love the dude. If everyone remembers he actually got some coaching on his mechanics and fundamentals. I believe it was a shorter, tighter throwing motion and really working on setting his feet. That was right before his best career completion percentage and I think he was like 15-2 TD/INT. It 100% made him a better QB and he was on pace to have his best "traditional" QB season until his shoulder gave out. I remember the details homie, I ain't talking bullshit here. No one is trying to trash Cam. Ron Rivera and his staff did not want to challenge Cam at all on his mechanics until the older Turner came in and they actually worked with him to improve. Cam Newton is the proof in the pudding that you need a good QB coach to get the most out of your QB. Someone has to guide them and correct them. -
RB Coach Duce Staley and QB Coach Josh McCown fired

You seemed to have missed the most important difference between Johnson and McCown. The years of coaching experience.....like WHAT? QB coach doesn't matter? Who do you think is working with these guys? Just because until now we just let Cam do Cam and then hired a bunch of bums doesn't mean its not an important position throughout the NFL. -

For real, people just making up poo. Deuce did a terrible job coaching up our RBs. There was no improvement. He couldn't train these guys to hit the few holes we did make. He got a lot of hype coming out of Hard Knocks for talking a lot. Josh McCown was a reach at QB coach. He was a great back up and helped a lot of young QBs from that perspective but that is not the same thing as a coach at all. Look at that! Easy enough to explain that they were just bad at their jobs! ORRRRR we can believe that Josh McCown had a stack of love letters for CJ Stoud that made fun of Bryce Young. Tepper and Tabor found them in his desk and fired him. -
One serious thing to consider for all the people who think no one good will want this job. Tepper has been shown to throw the cash around to get you what you need. He did it with Rhule and he did it with Frank. That is a huge bonus when you feel confident you can get your guys because Tepper makes them an offer they can't refuse.

Frank Reich Fired as Panthers HC - Official
PanthersGTI replied to NJPanthers12's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is just trying to justify your position. Wilson was a laughing stock throughout the entire year. A lot of it by his own design. Payton had to lay the ultimatum out to Wilson that he has to change and be willing to be coached his way or he is gone. That job was not taken because Russell Wilson was there. It was taken because Payton knows he can coach. Anyways, fine not Denver then look at Cleveland, The Jags, The Rams, The Browns. All teams with bad histories and generally known to have bad owners ( drafting a QB because a homeless man told you to ) and yet they get the coaches eventually. Fans just don't want it to be true but the question is weather Tepper will pick the right guy, not weather the right guy is going to interview. -

Someone who believes they are a better coach the Frank Reich? Did anyone balk at the Denver job? No, in fact they got a hall of fame coach/ professional douche bag to turn them around. This is a real dumb point, bad owners have gotten good coaches throughout the history of the NFL. -

He will be here for 1 more year at least. They will see what a new staff can get out of him or relegate him to #2 and drop him after the season. -

At least Tepper learned one thing.....if it stinks put it in the trash NOW, don't give it 3 years to see if it will get fresh. -
Man I was so hesitant to get on that train but god damn does it look like Nicole is HEAVILY involved with us getting Bryce. When I found out she was watching Oline drills.....it was over for me completely. It literally broke my fandom.

I think Tepper sold the franchise..... trust me bro

The Athletic - Panthers Indecisiveness
PanthersGTI replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think the job is too big for Frank. As it is with a lot of coordinators, it doesn't translate. -
Do you watch CJ Stroud and wonder ‘what if’?
PanthersGTI replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, I still believe in Bryce. We just have to fix the team/staff around him. He is getting killed out there and any productions our WRs could produce is stifled by a bad system. I wouldn't be surprised in Young was the top QB on the Texans draft board as well as a few other teams as well. They just hit on the right staff, we got potential there but no spark from the very top. -
I'm hype! Always nice to root for a guy like that and he was electric, so if he is back to form it will be a nice boost.
-
IMO we keep him with an incentive laden contract, but look to bring in/draft a #2 who can be a #1. Easier said then done lol.
-
Sounds like we will be getting Horn back in 2 weeks ( fingers crossed ) that will be a huge boost to this defense if he can come in and play at least 85%. Could be huge for the back quarter of the season. Its nice to hear people preaching a little patience with a new staff and all the changes that involves. It also doesn't help that ( from my understanding ) with the new practice restrictions and changes to preseason most teams don't really hit their stride until after the first 2-4 games anyways. Compound that with everything being new as well, it was going to be tough. Hopefully we have turned the corner and really start stacking some momentum.
-
Time to start reeling off some wins, Hoping the team gets a better each week. Rooting hard for them, the season isn't over!

Nah, you can't get rid of your only good backup QB. You could easily find yourself in a bad spot.
