  1. Rhule’s unwillingness to play Brown and Christensen is the main reason I want him gone asap. The rebuild will be a lot easier if we knew if either or both of those guys could help us. We know the other guys minus Moton aren’t the answer.
  2. Even if this is true Rhule will still screw it up. Count on Brady getting a few reps at RG, Erving plays 100% of the snaps at LT, 100% to Daley at LG and Deonte Brown will be inactive. I HATE MATT RHULE!!! We need Tepper to can this guy and instruct the interim coach to play the rookies.
  3. John Ellis is the man. I’m so over Rhule and glad Ellis is a real journalist.
  4. It doesn’t matter what we want. Rhule is determined to make Brady a guard.
  5. Which draft picks have been solid? Horn has been hurt, TMJ is invisible, Christensen sucks as a guard (Rhule won’t play him anywhere else unless he has to), Tremble shows promise but he’s the crown jewel so far, Chuba is nothing special, Nixon didn’t show much before he got hurt, Taylor was worth a 5th, our coaches think Dennis Daley and Michael Jordan are better than Deonte Brown, Shi Smith rarely plays, Rhule’s man crush Fletch will be forever remembered as the guy we took over Trey Smith and Big Snacc has shown potential. Tremble has had some nice plays but none of these guys have had much of an impact.
  6. They are competitive right now. We are not.
  7. It would be nice if Rhule would try to fix the problems that existed before he took the job. How could our o-line and quarterback situation be worse two years into a rebuild?
  8. Rhule took over a team with three areas of obvious concern and has fixed none of them in two seasons. He’s so arrogant he thought he could coach up guys like Erving, Eflein, Dennis Daley, PJ, Teddy and Darnold and solve all of our problems.
  9. People were posting in threads earlier about this being a long term rebuild. There’s a thread from last week where some guy claimed we’re more hostile to Rhule then we were with Ron in 2013. There are people here who still support Rhule.
  10. The rookies have a reason to play hard. Brown, Hoskins and Shi were late round picks. There’s plenty of incentive for them to give it 100%.
  11. I agree and pointed out why everyone is upset to the Rhule loyalists.
  12. I see some posters defending Rhule and arguing we should give him more time. Other’s are saying we were more patient with Rivera and Rhule he needs one more season. For those believers left, here’s why the rest of us are mad. Rhule hasn’t fixed any problems he inherited. We have no long term plan at QB. Our offensive line is a train wreck and we still can’t stop the run. To make matters worse, because we’ve traded away draft picks, picked up Sam Darnold’s 5th year option, overpayed for Erving and Eflein, signed Robby to an extension, we don’t have any realistic chance of fixing these problems in one offseason. Now that we’re eliminated from the playoffs it would be nice to see guys like Deonte Brown, Brady Christensen, Phil Hoskins, Shi Smith and TMJ get significant playing time to finish the season. What I fear more than anything is Rhule continuing to play vets in an effort to salvage his job without finding out if any of the young guys can help us. If he couldn’t fix obvious problems that existed before he got here, I have no confidence that he’ll do the right thing now. Edited to add, Rhule should be fired now and have the interim coach play the young players
  13. We got swept by the NFC East and look completely incompetent on offense. 2nd in the NFC South just means we suck less then the Saints and Falcons.
  14. He would at the very least prioritize fixing the o-line.
  15. You nailed it on Snow carrying Rhule. If our offense wasn’t so bad the defense would look even better.
  16. Dan Campbell has actually kept them competitive for most of their games, they’ve had horrible calls go against them and he has far less talent than us.
  17. That job was filled before Brady got fired by a much better coach.
  18. I’ll take any competent coach. Doug Peterson as head coach? Sure why not.
  19. Is that what we’re seeing? Sam and PJ are in the prime of their careers, are they on empty too? Our coaching staff hand picked these QBs and none of them have looked good. Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers would be on empty in this offense
  20. Watching the game today made me think it isn't Teddy, Sam, Cam or PJs fault. Has it ever occurred to anyone that Sam Darnold is missing Adam Gase about now?
  21. I played high school ball for EC Glass in central VA in the mid 90s. We were always a top team in the state losing two state championship games and state semis all 4 years with two appearances in the ESPN Super 25 over that stretch. I realized early on that our coaching was simply better than everyone else and that was the difference. The bad teams were always committing penalties and boneheaded plays. Well coached teams don’t make mistakes.
