  1. I have not heard anything positive that Zavala has done. He is a liability on the O-line. The only qualification that he has to playing on an O-line is that he weighs over 300 lbs.
  2. That's how Atl used Drake London last year too. His production improved when he was moved to the slot. I think T-Mac can be your prototypical X receiver, but why not take advantage if he produces more in the slot? I don't question Canales as a WR/QB coach, he is knows his stuff in that field, but being a HC is totally different. Canales hasn't been consistent in some of his decisions, but I do think he's earned more time to prove that he belongs.
  3. Also, the Falcons don't have a first rounder next year!! Keep losing and improving the Rams draft stock!
  4. Bryce has shown that he has the talent to throw for 400+ yds, multi TD games, and throw it down the field. He is just wildly inconsistent. When he is bad, he is tragically bad. But when he plays well he can also ball out. He needs consistency and confidence.
  5. This team is so inconsistent and still not good enough to make the big plays. Get turnover on kickoff only to not score points. This is what bad teams do.
  6. That alone says a lot about your candidacy to be a HC. Let's be real, Canales really only got this job because he is buddy buddy with Morgan. Maybe he actually is not a good HC and nobody wants him?
  7. Wish I had Robinson in fantasy, he about to go off for a 4 TD day today.
  8. I don't understand this sentiment. Canales knew Bryce was going to be the QB when he interviewed for the job, in essence he believed that he could make it work with Bryce. If you don't think you can win with Bryce then don't take the job, Ben Johnson didn't jump at any job offering and waited for the right opportunity, look at him in Chicago now.
  9. lol, what pussy play calling by Canales. A run on 1st, throw out of bounds on 2nd, and now a screen on 3rd? Yeah, I'm done with Canales.
  10. Panthers didn't win the last game against ATL, ATL lost that game. They came out today ready to play and for revenge. Ready to be blown out by 18+ points per the usual Canales losses. The more we get blown out, the sooner the front office will have to make a decision either about Bryce or Canales. I'm just ready for change.
  11. Whoever says that the LB position isn't as valuable is severely underestimating the positional value. You can't just put anybody in there and expect results.
  12. lol, typical panthers. Can't play a complete game, offense shows up but defense shuts down. Defense shows up, offense shuts down.
  13. It's one of the most baffling questions about Bryce. The last few games of last year showed that he could make those throws and we attributed it to him regaining confidence. All of a sudden he is back to Bryce year 1 and first half of year 2. People keep saying it's his size and stature, well he didn't change his size from last year. I don't know if it's play calling, confidence, reading defenses or what. He has been trash. Mayfield and Darnold got a lot better after moving to better organizations, if we move on from Bryce and he thrives somewhere then it's the Panthers fault and that is the bigger concern if true. It's definitely a question to be asked why some players improved after changing teams (Mac Jones w/SF, Jones w/IND, Mayfield w/Bucs, etc.)
  14. I listened to these guys on a weekly basis on my drive home from work. They're pretty fair and right on with their assessments on the team from a fan standpoint. They see a lot of the same obvious issues that fans see too.
  15. In all honesty, no one knows if Dan really pushed for Bryce to be drafted. It's not fair to Dan to say that just because he was a part of the Fitterer regime then he was in full support of drafting Bryce. If the HC, Reich at the time really wanted Stroud but got bullied into drafting Bryce then Dan had even less say so in the matter. Dan was also saddled with giving Bryce an opportunity to compete in years 2/3 because of the cost to trade up and get him by ownership. Outside of managing the QB position, Dan has made good moves and built a decent roster. Solidified the O-line and D-line, drafted contributors, and made good trades (Mike Jackson), and free agent signings (Dowdle). I do believe that this offseason will be really important for Dan and we'll see whose side he is clearly on. Bryce has had plenty of time and opportunity to prove himself and he has failed, if Dan is a Bryce homer he'll give him another year and pick up the 5th year option. If Dan isn't a Bryce homer, he'll move on from Bryce. Either way, we'll find out this offseason.
  16. I actually hear it all the time, the most common remarks are about how teams don’t throw it his way because he such a good corner.
  17. In all honesty, he should probably get that checked out. It might be (Arnold Schwarzenegger voice) "a tuuumaaa"
  18. I would prefer to hear them say that he is playing at a pro bowl level, he's had so many INTs, etc. It's not necessarily a bad thing that they don't mention him but he was expected to have a breakout year and it seems like he is just having an average year.
  19. Kind of weird, are we really that desperate for a CB? Also, Chau-Smith Wade has been super quiet lately, I don't think I've heard his name even be called by commentators in game. He was getting so much hype during the offseason and so far hasn't done much.
  20. It's not the only issue. She said it was the "biggest" issue. lol
  21. I honestly feel that his kicker bailed him out on this one. Imagine the criticism he would get if Fitzgerald missed the kick and we actually lose. He had plenty of questionable decisions and poor game management at the end. Winning covers up a lot of blemishes.
