    The team has been perpetually bad since 2020. We are LONG past crybabies. Crybabies are for good teams. This complaining is justified.

    People may not want to believe it and I tend to stay out of the conversation when it comes to media ranking our team and position groups. But them consistently ranking us near the bottom in almost all positions makes me this where there is smoke there is fire. They may surprise us and be decent this year. But I have a bad feeling about this season.

    If Horn goes to our practice squad I have a feeling he won’t be there for long. Some WR needy team will pick him up.

    3-4 sucks. Has always sucked. But it doesn’t help he is a terrible defensive coordinator. He should have been fired last year but thankfully this is the last year on his contract. We will lose games because of his defense.

    And I’d love a gold plated toilet seat but it is not in the cards now is it? Panthers don’t have the cap or the trade resources and we don’t need to be giving up first round picks. Especially since we will definitely need it if Bryce proves he is not the long term option.

    Considering how our starters last year struggled against the Bills third string defense I disagree. Live reps are live reps. No matter who you are going against. Our starters need to play. If that is against backups so be it.

    I remember a game that season, 2008, where Delhomme had a mini-meltdown and we won because the defense played lights out. After the game, I think, the Raiders said Delhomme should be giving all the game balls to the defense because they were the reason we won that game.

    Fumbling has been an issue with Bryce and yeah, maybe don’t try to damage the confidence of your rookie pass rusher.

    Yeah let’s take a player at LB at 8 who was not rated a top 10 talent over a WR who is a top 10 talent. There were NO players left at 8 besides T-Mac who was worth a top 10 pick and no one wanted to pay our price for moving back.

    Second round picks should never get fully guaranteed contracts. They are not worth the risk.

    Well last year the first team offense struggled against the Bills 3rd string defense. First string offense needed to convert a 4th down to score a TD. If the starters play against backups and do what they are supposed to do, score easily, I’d say the reps are worth it. Would make me feel better. Unlike last preseason.

    That Ginn play was what made be start to dislike him. It was cowardly and lazy. Even the commentators were confused when he ran out of bounds.

    Still hurt the only time we made it to the NFC Champioship game we had a dilapidated team that pretty much had no chance against the Seahawks. 2005 still hurts. That team was going to the Super Bowl then Delhomme Delhommed

    They didn’t. Only TDs were the fumble and Anderson scoring after the last fumble. He rest we’re field goals.
