While this series is very similar to last year, 2 dominating wins at home then 2 frustrating losses away. One big difference is we lost both times in overtime to Nashville. Bruins pretty much blew us out during these 2 losses. I hope the guys can get it together, but these last 2 losses have been very concerning. But what makes me feel better is all the other top teams besides Colorado are struggling against their lower seed opponents so we are not alone.

Another season, same ole playoffs. This team deserved to lose this series. Pathetic.

I think we will too. Just need to get 1 win in Boston. That Nashville series made me realize last year we weren’t as good as I though we were. Hope we can end it in 5.

That game was, disappointing, and felt very similar to past playoffs where we looked completely outmatched. I hope this doesn’t take spiral. We need to get the Bruins monkey off our back.

Still have no idea how the Eagles made Foles look Elite. Because since then he has been meh. As much as I don’t like Darnold I’d rather stand pat.

McAdoo was a better OC than a coach. Meaning he will get another coaching job even though it is obvious he is a bad Head Coach. Kinds like the Bucs coach, Todd Bowles. Guy was one of the worst coaches during his time with the Jets. Yet he got another chance. NFL loves its retreads.

Wow, pundits are pretty much expecting us to compete for the first pick in the draft next season. That last one is not a fan of Corral or Darnold.

Or if it looks like we’re gonna get a top-five pick again and potentially a franchise quarterback it makes us see what he can do. I don’t necessarily agree with it but I find it interesting. The podcast never even mentioned Rhule once. It wasn’t an agenda against him.

I heard on a podcast suggesting we start Corral sooner rather than later. If he does well we have our starting QB of the future. If he doesn’t then we do poorly, Rhule is fire and we draft high enough to get a QB.

What if we had of drafted Corral in the first? Would you write 40 pages for a first round QB times are good? We know the Panthers we’re trying to move up into the second and were probably gonna draft Corral in the second but the cost was too high

If he is a letdown, then he is a letdown. But if he turns into a legitimate starter/franchise QB then great as well. Never was a fan of Grier. Watched his college tape and wasn’t impressed. Corral on the other hand has raw, potentially elite traits that are hard not to get excited for. We’ll see what happens.

If he ends up being good I don’t think anyone will complain about the 3rd pick. I do not think he will be shoved out there. He will be allowed to develop. Which probably means Rhule is back next year even if we only win 5 games again, unfortunately. I completely disagree with you, 3rd round pick for a low risk/high reward QB is good. There is one guarantee that will happen each draft for QBs the team that drafts them will have fans that complain that the player was drafted too high and not worth the pick. It is guaranteed like the sunrise.

Those people seem to be convinced Corral’s ceiling is a high end backup before he has a chance to play. I will wait till he plays before I make any decision. We’ll likely see a lot of him, and Darnold, in the preseason. Should be a really fun camp. I hope he develops into a franchise QB. But I hope that for all of our starting QBs, yes even Darnold. I just hope the team doesn’t panic and force him out they’re till he is ready. I can stand another season if Darnold if there is hope for the future behind him.

If it means we are no longer a 4 year development team for players we draft then I am all for it.

Exactly. I am over the moon happy for the LT pick. I hope our more experienced staff can develop Corral and work on what he struggles with and does not start him till he is ready. Because if he doesn’t work out then we will continue searching.

I hate seeing all the negativity surrounding this kid already. People already declaring him a career backup before he plays a snap. How about we wait and just see what happens? Maybe he’ll surprise us. If not there is always next year. But something tells me the coaching staff won’t force him out there till he is ready.

Who would he want us to take? I assume Willis.

Probably one of the least stressful drafts ever. Got a stud lineman and hopefully our QB of the future. Honestly don’t care if Darnold starts the season because we know there is hope behind him and hope is what the Panthers have been lacking. Hopefully we can win in spite of Rhule.

I don’t understand why the Panthers are so obsessed with used QBs. He couldn’t even beat a Mahomesless Chiefs team in the Playoffs. If I remember correctly that game was looking like a blowout before Mahomes got injured.

If we do draft a QB in the 4th it is hard too feel excited because there is a reason he is in the 4th. We may get a Prescott but more than likely we’ll get a Grier. I would rather them just not draft a QB if we never trade up. Use the 4th to solidify an area with hopefully a quality backup /rotational player

Brown, Robby doesn’t really make a difference to me. Both have been very disappointing. Thanks Hurney.
