Feel like they are gonna regret that.

I know it happens. But considering how grueling of a sport hockey is I will never understand having games scheduled back to back, especially if it is an away game. Sabres also had a day of rest. It is like if an NFL team had to play a game on Sunday afternoon and then turn around and play on Monday against a team that is rested. Like, WTF schedules makers?

Probably one of the best season hockey games I have ever watched.

Luckily the guy who messed that up is gone. Gonna be interesting what Morgan and Tillis do.

I think Bryce’s ceiling is Jimmy G. By that I mean if he had a good team around him he could be good enough to be carried to success. Our team would be successful in spite of him not because of him. Could he be salvaged? IDK, but the track record of QBs like him is very, very low. Short and his low arm strength are always gonna be his biggest faults. If Bryce succeeds he would be an exception, not the rule.

Make or break year for Bryce. I hope the coach was given the ability to drop Bryce if he flames out next season and we are in a position to draft a QB. Don’t want to end up like the Titans did and constantly give Marcus Mariota chances and an extension hoping he will finally break out. Only 5 more months till training camp.

Drew Brees is such a weird comparison. Brees is taller, had a stronger arm and played with more urgency.

Wilks talent as a DC doesn’t compare to Norman. Losing Wilks will do nothing. They are too talented a unit.

Maybe. We will never know. Mahomes was shredding the defense at that point.

Shanahan wants to have to offense run like the 2016 Falcons and he has never been able to find a QB that can do it.

Hones Him firing Wilks is not surprising. Shanahan didn’t seem to be the biggest fan of his playcalling during the season. He was looking for an excuse. It is amazing how every team that went up against the Chiefs knew they weak against the run but never took advantage of it the whole game.

What about him going prevent and then Shanahan calling a time out to stop that crap?

Kinda like how the Ravens fans try to claim Steve Smith even though he was only on the team for 3 seasons.

But it is the truth. Yes, they are in the Super Bowl but Wilks defense was getting gashed in both the Packers and Lions game in the run. Lions and Packers just decided to stop doing what worked. Same thing happened a few times during the season. Especially during the losing streak. Wilks is a great guy but he is an average DC that is greatly helped by being on a team that is stacked defensively.

Purdy probably would have sucked on the Panthers. Purdy is in a really good situation and in a offense that is filled with playmakers that help his strengths while minimizing his weaknesses. I doubt he would have had that with the Panthers and definitely not with Rhule.

As much as it would suck. Just let Burns walk. I agree tagging him would be a mistake if we can't find someone to trade for him and we have bigger needs and little cap space.

I have a feeling Dan Quinn will not last more than a season baring something happening. Dude is just keeping the seat warm.
