Just to suffer.

Never get people’s obsession with a player that probably shouldn’t even be drafted in the first round.

If we get Richardson it is essentially telling the fanbase to check out for the next 1 to 2 seasons. I think the FO thinks we are close enough to be ready to be a playoff team next season even with a rookie QB. No way they get Richardson and expect the fanbase and Tepper to just patiently wait till he is ready. Which may be never. If we were still at 9 or if we had an incumbent starter who is aging out and we needed to find his long term replacement I would be okay with Richardson. But not at #1 and not with Dalton as a potential starter. We need a rookie with potential to start day one.

Drafting AR is pretty much telling fans to check out for the next few season because the Panthers aren’t doing anything in the post-season.

This is the reason why I don’t want to draft him. #1 overall pick doesn’t have 2 or 3 year and this coaching staff doesn’t have 2 or 3 years to wait. I have had enough of losing season and missing the playoffs. I don’t want to watch 2 or 3 more losing seasons before hopefully the QB we drafted can play.

Barf.

Our 1st overall selection is definitely coming into a team that could be contenders as soon as 2024 and be a surprise playoff team in 2023. Hope we do ruin that 1st pick we gave the Bears after the poo talking the Bears fans have been doing the last few weeks.

Guy on twitter posted these this morning titled “Panthers 2023 Uniforms” it is BS but it does make me frustrated that all we are getting is a slight change and a color correction.

I don’t know. Thought the guy was the local media. If not then my mistake.

Only case I accept for Levis is the one I will be drinking if we draft him.

Panthers really should just go ahead and tweet out the uniform update. Waiting till the draft to officially announce what is pretty much an equivalent to an “Improves Perfomance” update on Windows is just dumb. No one is excited for a few pointless changes on an almost 30 years old jersey.

Same. Just a jersey update and that is it. Don’t understand why they are waiting to before the draft to announce it. It isn’t a big deal or a big surprise. If it was new uniforms, logo, the whole shebang I would understand holding the surprise till the draft.

So after going through the pages nothing is changing and all it will be is a minor update. Hope the draft isn’t as big of a letdown as this hole charade was. If I was the Panthers I would just drop this on Twitter without any fanfare. Because it doesn’t deserve any.

Rivera should have been fired after 2014 but of course our division had to be ass that year. So of course we would go to the playoffs and Richardson would take that as an excuse not to fire him.

Yeah I have read something similar. But it seems like Reich wants a QB that is more pocket passer and only has to rely on his legs if he has too. That sounds more like Stroud and Young to me. As you said, Richardson, at least in his rookie year if he plays, will pretty much be a running back who occasionally passes. I have seen people say we should go to a triple option type of system. But that doesn’t work in the NFL. Players are too fast and diagnose plays too quickly.

“Think” That is the key word.

I am hoping it is a situation similar to last year. Bunch of hype coming out of the pro day and it seemed we may have multiple QBs in the first. Man were we and the media wrong about that. I think the same thing will happen here.

I would like to win our division by being a good team. Not being the best bad team.
