I know people have doubts, being an Ohio QB, but I have never see a QB like Stroud come out of Ohio. Cool that he did well. On to Bryce Young.

I missed it how did he do?

Thankfully he is gone and the Panthers will hopefully be better for it. Like the Hornets may be.

Played well? I remember a lot of people complaining every time he saw the field. I though he sucked?

I just hope we don’t take him 1st overall. Of course it would be a completely Panthers thing to draft a project player that high. If they trade back I will start thinking they probably will take AR. I don’t think they are crazy enough to take him 1st overall.

My emotions till draft day:

If we are gonna draft AR we definitely need to trade down to 4th or lower. AR probably won’t see the field till 2024 at the earliest. Don’t really wan’t to take a project player at 1st but it Would make me feel better if we got away from 1st overall and get some picks back if we plan to draft him.

Do you think the FO thinks AR can start day 1? Because all I see is a 1 or 2 year red shirt player. As I’ve said. I can’t remember a project player being drafted at 1 overall. Being draft 1st usually means you are gonna start day 1. Baring some catastrophe in training camp.

If they are seriously considering AR at 1 makes me wonder if they think he can start this season. I can not remember a team taking a project QB at 1 ever. AR may not be ready to start for a season or 2. Lance was taken at 3 but I think if Jimmy G wasn’t there he would have started his rookie year. Also do Panthers fans want to watch Dalton for maybe 1 or 2 seasons and waste even more of our core defensive and O-line players prime, potentially

Feel like if we draft AR all this hype will end with a wet fart. Not saying AR can’t be successful. Just find it weird that we trade up to 1 only to draft a player that may of been there at 9. A player that won’t be able to start for a long time. We are talking 1 to 2 seasons. If he is ever ready.

Problem is Richardson is missing more than just his completion percentage. Accuracy is a major issue. As much as I loved Cam I got real tired of his over throws. Richardson isn’t worthy of a #1 pick. You don’t trade up to 1 for a project player who has a ton of questions. We could potentially have gotten Richardson at 9. You trade up to one for a player you could put in day one. Richardson is just too raw needs too much work. If we got him at 9 I would have patience. At 1 I will have less so. Richardson and Levis aren’t in the running despite what the media is playing up. It is between Stroud and Young. Always has been.

The market value for him is 3 years 28 million. 9 million a year. That, imo, is way too much for a guy who can’t stay healthy. Good to see that the Panthers have the same concerns as the fans.

Probably can thank Rhule for that stupid extension. He was probably resigned here because he knew he could not sucker as much money from another team.

I don’t trust Chark to stay healthy and Thielen is over the hill we need a WR more that a pass rusher.

I have a feeling a WR will be what the second rounder is.

At this point I expect us to make the playoffs but never the Cup. The team needs something new. Some consequence for failing to make the cup for 4 years in a row. Patience is running out.

As I said before. I don’t care if it is Young or Stroud. I think both could be franchise QBs. Stroud will be the more traditional QB that I think Reich would be more drawn to. He is more plug and play. Young is special and if it wasn’t for his height I think he would be really special. Any team that takes him will have to build the offense around his height.

If he can stay healthy.

He should be good for the 5 or so games he plays till he is inevitably injured and out for the season. Hope the Panthers don't pay too much.
