  1. It's collusion that nobody wants to pay an oft-injured QB $200m guaranteed and lose 2 first round Draft picks in the process? Yeah, ok. We saw with Watson that NFL teams really don't give a fug if they think the player is good enough.
  2. He's the cap specialist, right?
  3. Funnily enough if he had traded Burns for that absurd offer he'd have much more ammunition to go up and get the QB Reich et al wants... Realistically he should have been fired on the spot for turning down that trade.
  4. I don't think Levis is more talented than Darnold - and I don't think he has a better College resume either. We don't NEED to Draft a first round QB, that's how you cripple your franchise. We'd very much like to I'm sure, but I hope we don't get caught up in our emotions on this and do something stupid.
  5. Playing it 'safe' = playing it smart. The smart teams are consistently the best ones.
  6. Or stick at 9 and pick up one of those sliding 'Top 5' talents because everyone else has lost their damn minds.
  7. This is the hold up. The Cardinals negotiated a bad deal. The Ravens refuse to follow suit.
  8. Exactly. Roll the dice at #9. Roll it again next year and the year after if he busts. Don't trade all three of those picks for one chance.
  9. That's the kind of package I'd put together for an established franchise QB, not a rookie.
  10. Well he's already 26 and he's not going to be able to play this season (or much of it as he's recovering from ACL surgery), so yeah... that's a bold choice.
  11. Well he's playing OLB next year, so. Also, here's the thing - if Fitterer had traded Burns for 2 first round picks+ then he could make this rumoured trade up without too much long-term damage done.
  12. I can see Young being left in the green room on Draft night. He's just so damn small.
  13. Oh no, he literally has to be THE guy. You can't give up 3 first round picks+ for a middling QB.
  14. You can't project us based on opponents standing still. Let's say the Saints sign Carr and the Falcons trade for Jackson. Suddenly that "wide open division" is incredibly tough and Playoffs looks miles away.
