Panthers hire Josh McCown as QB coach
OldhamA replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I was going to say, he's out there on YouTube talking about the upcoming Draft class. -
72 isn't old if you've looked after yourself.
-
I'm sorry to hear that.
-
It's 10.30pm on a Thursday. Where am I going to go?
-
So you have to be on the God Squad to get a coaching gig in Charlotte now? Damn.
-
Indeed. We also have mouth breathers saying "I've fallen in love with the latest highly rated Draft prospect. Let's trade three first round picks for him".
-
I think that system / supporting cast made him look much better than he is. He's also in his mid-20s.
-
I don't think Payton has his own personal team that follows him around everywhere - Wilson's ego is larger.
-
Why is it 'hate' for a fan to want the best for their team, Shaq? Your have a contract that doesn't reflect your ability - a contract that is actively preventing us from improving the team in Free Agency.
-
It almost feels like someone in the Front Office has said "your best player on defence is Burns - build the system around his skillset". Let's see if he thrives as an OLB in a 3-4, there's no reason he shouldn't.
-
From what I gather he's close friends with Hackett - so it's more he hated his (I think) College roommate being fired.
-
Cos he's black?
-
He was also only there one year I believe.

Ellis Williams. How to turn the Panthers around in one year
OldhamA replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
He's going to measure in at 5'10" and 180lbs at the Combine. -

We need a WR. Moore is very good, but he's not "consistently beat double coverage" good - hell sometimes he can't even beat single coverage. Get a good #1 / #2 alongside him, push Marshall to #3 and suddenly you open up a whole raft of options offensively. -

Joking aside, if you've watched McKee play he can barely move because he's so tall. Every off-platform throw for him is a struggle. -
If he's sitting a year behind Corral he's not your guy.

I think Corbett tore his ACL. Oh, was it Christensen that broke his leg? My bad.
-
I've never been to Baltimore, but Charlotte is the most milquetoast American city I've been to. I spat my drink out when Steve Smith said as such on his podcast recently, paraphrasing "you'd better be ready to ante-up for Playoff tickets because there's not much else going on in Charlotte".
-
How bad was his injury again? He broke his leg / ankle, right?
-
Woah, woah, woah - the only time you should mention Mallory and Olsen in the same breath is when you're referencing that they went to the same university.
-
Ginn took the top off of defences - something we've never replaced.
-
Reich seems to inspire an insane amount of loyalty. Sirianni went off on one with the media when the Eagles beat the Colts this year.
-
He doesn't have anywhere near the same arm talent. Like, at all. I think he's probably the best QB in this Draft, albeit he's tiny, but you can't go throwing comparisons like that out there.

What, you're saying you don't enjoy the dead air when Smith makes a great point and the co-host just sits there gawping?
