Isn't he from south Florida, Miami area? I was thinking about this yesterday, Jacksonville is about 6 hours away from his home area. That's practically another state. It's not like they are a short drive from each other. It's a significant drive or plane trip. NC would be further but same thing basically, significant drive or a plane trip.

Why do we keep trading our FA acquisitions?
Luciu5 replied to BurnNChinn's topic in Carolina Panthers
Perryman did nothing while he was here. Literally. Didn't even practice. Great for him where he is, but he wasn't doing anything here. Jags specifically asked for Arnold. We did not want to give him up, but wanted Henderson more than Arnold.- 53 replies

I really love this channel. JT O'sullivan does a good job breaking down QB play. He points out Darnold going through his progressions and fitting balls into tight windows. This is a break down of his game against Houston.

Wildcard. If we beat the <.500 teams and lose to the >.500 teams on our schedule, we could have 10-12 wins depending on how things go. We could legit end up in the playoffs without beating any playoff contenders.

If CJ slides right in and plays well and Bouye plays decently, our secondary looks not terrible. It might work out, but it definitely hinges on how well those two fit in this week. The defense has been playing as a well oil machined and I'm hoping changing out a couple parts doesn't fug with that too much.

Not sure what to think of this. I suppose we can afford to lose Arnold if another one of our 5 TE's can take his production, which isn't much. Losing a 3rd though, I feel like we won't have much of a draft this year. I guess we're pretty much guaranteed to be trading down our first this year. I don't know enough about the CB to say if it's worth it or not.
-
Not necessarily. They got their starting DE and starting CB back this week. There will always be some kind of lingering doubt if we could have pulled off a win with against their defense if it wasn't missing key pieces plus half their coaching staff missing. I don't think that's a fair way to look at it because it's the NFL, but it is what it is. If we lose to the Cowboys, will anyone question their win with us missing our best offensive weapon and arguably our best DB? Doubt it.

CMC Injury Update: "Less than grade 1" hamstring strain
Luciu5 replied to shaka's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, to me, it obviously wasn't too serious. I'm glad that's confirmed. All in all though, I'm far more concerned with the defense. But at the end of the day it's a team, and we're about to see if this defense is a team beyond just the individual efforts. -
Most watched Thursday night game since 2018?
Luciu5 replied to Davidson Deac II's topic in Carolina Panthers
That's odd. If I was a Seahawks fan, I'd have been cheering for the AFC team. -
Apparently we worked out 3 other RBs in addition to Duke.
-
Yeah...some of these fans are calling us the Carolina Jets or the Jets South. Ugh. They think we have their coaching staff, their QB, their WR1. Makes me throw up in my mouth a bit.

No poo between the refs then the injuries, it was frustrating to watch.

I read this ^ Then I read this ^

Sure! Right after we shore up our oline with first round LT. We probably could actually throw a late first at another lineman the year after. About this time we'll want to put another high pick into the dline. And I imagine somewhere in those few years there will be a can't miss guy that falls to us that we take because BPA.

She is incredibly sexy. Unless you look at her arms and realize she is a skeleton wearing skin. She needs to fuging eat something.

It's more....9/10 missed 3 games, 1 guy missed 4 games, thus 3.1 games avg. (Don't check the math, it's close enough to get my point.)

One bone or two bones, takes the same amount of time to heal. It's not like if you more bones break it takes longer to heal. He's going to be out 8 weeks minimum though. Maybe 6, but those bones are a bit thicker and I would think would take longer to heal compared to if was lower down on the foot.
-
I'll just drop this right here.
-
Regarding Horn, I was thinking the same thing. Hopefully Bouye can step right in to his spot. Depending on the break, Horn could be back in as little 6-8 weeks optimistically. Assuming the defense continues at a high level, the offense will have a chance in every game even without CMC. I'm hoping this is just a strain and he'll be back in a week or two.

Sam Darnold "optimistic that CMC will be back this season."
Luciu5 replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
We can gameplan now without him. I think that was our problem in the first half last night, no plan for no CMC. Brady made adjustments and put something together for the second half that wasn't as reliant on McCaffrey being in. -

They might just be being coy with cmc. He walked off the field. I don't think they would have let him do that if it was too serious. Or I hope not anyway.
