  1. Ryans looks like a legit coach and he's assembled a solid staff. Have to give credit for that. The great news is we did win and we got a glimpse of the star talent we wanted to see from our #1 pick. Now begins the process of assessing the rest of the season and figuring out who needs to be shown the door to maximize Bryce's potential. I hope we can win several more along the way and sabotage the Bears draft position. But even with the win today it looks like we're going to remain a low scoring offense. That isn't on Bryce though. It's on Scott Fitterer.
  2. Come on man don't play these games with me. You know I'm referring to all the hype and fluff after the draft and before the season. Almost everyone here agreed the Texans were a bad destination for any rookie QB.
  3. We scored 15 points lol. For some apparently this was the bar? That's sweet. We want to contend with playoff teams. We would have been taken to the woodshed against better competition. Like against Miami.
  4. It's always funny when folks who have been largely missing for a few months save for a few random posts here and there shows up asking where everyone is at now like they've earned the right to strut. Just no. You don't get cool points for hiding when it's convenient. I'm happy with how Bryce Young played on the whole. But the way we finished the game is not what we should be doing. We barely squeaked by a team we were supposed to be significantly better than anyways and we had to play for a FG in our own house to do it. We've still got a lot of work to do.
  5. I'm all for celebrating the win. But settling scores? We've got a lonnnnng ways to go. Things are anything but settled at this moment. We're still 1-6.
  6. He redeemed himself. For a rookie that's what you want to see. It's okay to have some ups and downs but respond in those pressure situations and don't shrink in the moment.
  7. It's eerily similar to Horn over Surtain. The home state factor for both prospects was heavily pushed by the Panthers. Maybe it's time we just start taking the best football player available and not give a fug what college team they played for.
  8. Bryce Young played up to the level I wanted to see and more so I'm quite happy about that going forward. There is no reason to be so insecure about Stroud he played fine he's got a bright future ahead of him the same as hopefully Bryce Young does too if this franchise can ever get it's act together. Enjoy the win folks. It's finally a proper Sunday.
  9. I'm not loving this playing for the FG poo from an 0-6 team.
  10. Finally in the end zone! Excellent drive from Bryce.
  11. Guess we should have made a run at DeMeco Ryans.
  12. Now that's a throw I wanted to see. Very nice Bryce
  13. I agree the OL is poo and Mingo has not met expectations. Still need to see some life from Bryce despite all circumstances even if we lose. Have to give fans some semblance of hope.
  14. Stroud has undeniable arm talent. The cope is heavy in here.
  15. Our secondary is booty but that's a throw you expect franchise QB's to make. Gotta give credit where it's due.
  16. I mean at some point you look at both coaching and your players. This is a downgrade from a Teddy Bridgewater offense.
  17. Enough circular arguing. Let's just agree we just need to see results today regardless of circumstances. It's time to swim or.......float.
