Clearly they didn't want to have both Moore's contract and Burns looming deal on the books while they try to build around the #1 pick QB. I can see the reasoning. But man we better be coming out of this draft with minimum one stud WR and one of the best TE's or it's going to feel underwhelming even with the top pick.

People are crapping on Moore but TMJ has done basically nothing. He's got as much to prove as any rookie WR we will surely draft now.

Trading Burns sounds like an okay idea to fans on the internet but to the new DC we just lured here that would be a slap in the face and might cause issues amongst the staff/locker room. We can get one of the top QB's without that.
