Man went from the likelihood of being paid like a top 20 WR to being lucky if he can find a team that will take another chance on him. All within a span of less than 6 months. Might as well have followed a how to guide on how to torpedo his career.

WR and LB in the first two rounds does have a Dan Morgan ring to it. Going that direction at pick 8 would certainly accelerate the clock for Young and Canales and there would be no excuses for the offense stumbling out of the gate in September.

Yeah I do have some optimism for certain things Dan has done but the draft is always the key for any team wanting to contend. The Panthers have simply been too blase about purging people involved with the previous drafts. The college scouting department is still pretty much intact when we should be cleaning house there. That not happening indicates it's a problem at the top. I don't want to say Dan Morgan is another figurehead for David Tepper like Fitterer was but there's a reason no one else was interested in the job.

I appreciate the input. This stems from him taking offense to valid opinions I've expressed about Bryce Young to digging up posts about Sam Darnold and using that as a resource to argue why we should give Bryce Young more time to prove himself. The issue is I've never argued against that and I am fully aware and eager to see what Bryce does in his third season. But unfortunately for him he picked one of the worst examples as Sam Darnold has once again revealed himself to be the same QB he always was and past criticism of his play has only been further validated despite his attempts to call people out over it. Now he doesn't like the shoe being on the other foot. Anywho again thanks for attempting to bring some reason. It's all good either way it's the offseason we've got nothing but time.

All jokes aside it's obvious the Panthers like to draft players with connections to the area. We drafted Horn over Surtain and played up the local ties narrative and then did the exact same thing with Xavier Legette. Then you add in the RAS score obsession and this is what you get. Seemingly little has changed since moving on from Fitterer. But for this team to take a big step forward in a short time is going to require arguably our best draft in many many years. I wish I could say I feel good about that happening but while there are some things to like about Dan Morgan I just don't see anything different from the previous GM when it pertains to the draft.

Nobody forced you to randomly call people out for rightfully criticizing Sam Darnold in 2021. Now you're bothered because people are quoting you back? After calling others thin skinned? And trying to pull Bryce Young into this? Things aren't going well eh? I hope you have a lovely Tuesday big guy.

I feel bad Sam Darnold the person I hate it for him. But Sam Darnold the QB and the hype that this season brought was always a mirage waiting to be revealed. All this revisionist history about what he might or might not have done here with us if we kept him was and is nonsense.

I've seen enough. I'll be surprised if we see Darnold in the playoffs again

Looks like his knee is down but the refs might let it stand wouldn't surprise me.

Well that's a huge gift for the Vikings

Darnold looks rattled.

And with a huge game changing call in his favor Stafford promptly squanders the drive.

Stafford is so goofy. No matter what they rule it that was a dumb ass play just take the sack.

When Sam has to think too much eventually bad things happen.

Tom Brady needs to take his 7 rings and just go away. We already know he's the GOAT we don't need to force an awkward commentator role.

There is an argument to be made that a quality defense is equally as important to any young quarterback as surrounding him with weapons. We should not be trading away significant assets for offense with our other needs.
