Waking up to this news is like Christmas morning.

Part of this is also due to Bryce Young himself. When these defenses watch the tape they see our OL but they also see Bryce Young's yards per pass attempt. He finished the season with apparently the lowest yards per pass attempt in NFL history. That doesn't just happen only because of the oline and receivers. He simply does not instill any level of fear as a passer. That's the rub. Sad as it is to say.

Used to be the banner game was the one where we beat CJ Stroud and the Texans with Eddie's leg. Now it's a loss against one of the worst secondaries in the league that surrendered 4 (FOUR) passing touchdowns to Baker Mayfield who led his offense to 9 total points today against a Panthers defense that gave up 26 points to a Trevor Lawrenceless offense last week. You just can't talk sense to some of the people who want to believe despite quantifiable data.

For the folks who want to blame the oline the receivers Frank Reich Josh McCown Thomas Brown yada yada. Bare in mind. You sound exactly like the people who defended Sam Darnold until the bitter end. They shouted Adam Gase's name until you could barely hear a whimper. And the crazy thing about it is Sam Darnold always had every phsyical intangible needed to look the part that Bryce Young does not. Think on it. You've got plenty of time the season is over.

David Tepper is an unconscionable f*ckstick.

I believe he's a good kid. NFL QB? Future is not looking bright. But I also believe the toxic folks who attacked anyone that had a dissenting opinion about his abilities in the weeks before the draft now look foolish to say the least. Life comes at you fast. It's all about that 2025 draft baby. One way or another something big is changing after what will assuredly be another letdown next season regardless of who is the coach.

Shutout two games in a row to close the season. Officially I think we're witnessing worse than Jimmy Clausen as sad as it is to say.

He and Baker Mayfield are competing for who can look like poo more. It's depressing either way.

I'm on record as having a fairly low opinion of Dalton. That Saints game last year between him and Darnold was so horrendous. But I do have to say there's a good chance we win at least a few more games and the offense that we all think is so damn awful looks somewhat better with Dalton's passing ability opening up the whole field. I don't love that truth at all. But it is what it is.

Banning people you don't agree with is a good way to not have a community left. We are the worst team in the NFL and probably in just about all of sports. Don't participate in discourse if you don't like it. It's only going to get worse as the offseason gets here and the media lays into us.

I'm hard pressed to find any single player on this offense to be very optimistic about.

The Bryce dick riders are equally as obnoxious as the haters.

It's amusing that people say things like this with the utmost confidence. Do you have any other information you can give us about the alternate universe where we draft CJ Stroud?

One poster in particular dumped several hundred poo reactions over the course of a month in the leadup to the draft on any posts not in total favor of Bryce Young. That poster has been completely MIA since the Colts game. Go figure.

The threads immediately following that win sure have been fun to revisit.

If he's actually hiring outside people to run the search bravo. If we are only going to replace Fitterer with Morgan as much as I like Dan the person and former player he's been here with Scott through some mess and he absolutely cannot be absolved. Not to mention there's the layer that Tepper exerts his own influence on the GM and the familiarity he has with Dan will probably muddy the waters. Honestly I'm in favor of completely gutting the entire front office and scouting dept. We have been comically abysmal at drafting.

I appreciate the real data people are bringing to give us a full picture on the talk of our OL woes. Regardless of who we hire as the head coach we definitely need to see some level of an upward trend from Bryce next season or the locker room is going to get dicey. It doesn't matter how nice someone is or how much they are liked as a person when other people are having their livelihood affected by consistently bad QB play. Eventually it erodes the foundation. See Sam Darnold as a starting QB.
