Nobody is doing cartwheels because the Panthers are bottom of the league but there is hope that we will finally get a shot at a franchise QB in the draft. Idk why anyone would be mad about that unless they're still salty about Matt Rhule being fired

We are bad enough amongst the rest of the league right now with our level of offensive output (with or without CMC) we really don't have to tank. But if we get the first pick you take a QB and shoot your shot it's our only choice we can't keep chasing QB's on other teams rosters.

With how well Reddick has been doing in Philly with a change of scenery you would think that would lead some Panthers fans to step back and assess this a little more. Two firsts sounds good but it's easier said than done to hit on those two picks. Right now I am leaning keep Burns and put a real pass rusher opposite of him.

I think Faulk was speaking about sheer talent accounting for McCaffrey's abilities at receiver. As far as a pure running back Faulk was a force of nature and he's a hall of famer for a reason. CMC would have to put up multiple 1,000+ yard rushing seasons to even sniff the hall of fame or Faulk's jockstrap as a rusher. That's just the truth.

You're perfectly fine with it but multiple times now you've tried to draw comparisons with him to DJ Moore because not enough people in your mind are shouting from rooftops that he too should be traded. McCaffrey has touched the ball 1,256 times as a Carolina Panther. He's very clearly been the focal point of our offense and it hasn't worked out despite a top 10 pick invested and the largest RB contract in the league. Yeah people are going to talk about the win/loss record. Idk you'll have to ask them that question. Some people legitimately think getting picks over getting nothing at all when he was eventually released is a major negative. Our history with drafting good wide receivers hasn't been pretty. When you change the criteria to elite don't even bother looking. Suffice to say I will not hold my breath about us drafting the next elite receiver in the mid rounds.
