This thread is the "just happy to be here" Panthers mentality summed up. There is just no excuse for the offense and our qb on a professional football team to play the way they did for 3 full quarters.

If Sam and the offense had played like that for the first three quarters we win running away so as disappointed as I am in the defense nobody from the offense doesn't get a pass for the end. Our offense was spotted a touchdown by the special teams and still needed overtime for a chance to win. They need to play much better and that begins with the leader of this offense Sam Darnold sorry truth is truth we lost.

Here's the thing to ponder that may only further infuriate you. We easily could have made a move for a better second option in someone like Minshew but we didn't want this quarterback to look over his shoulder. This is not how you run an NFL team.

Not drafting a quarterback this year will be an issue revisited frequently with each week Sam Darnold looks like a steaming pile of poo. You may as well get used to it.

Agreed Robby is looking horrid. But more than that I think Sam may be what he is going to be as of this moment. Losing CMC should not turn him into Jets Sam this quickly. It's going to take a miracle for him to become a good starting qb I don't think the playcalling or oline will change him we can only hope to minimize his gaffes.
