  1. Add Tex-Mex food……garbage. We don’t make tacos with ground meat!
  2. Colin has been waiting for this moment for almost four years…he hates Mayfield, looooves Sam. He’s as subtle as a bull in a China closet. I agree with him, though.
  3. Oh yeah….the 92 yrder to Robby game! Delicious game. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/cowboys/2019/10/13/dallas-cowboys-new-york-jets-dak-prescott-ezekiel-elliott/3972549002/
  4. That guy is horrible….believe me, there are turds like him back home (Scott Wolf, Petros Papadakis) Sam had to deal with, on a constant basis, size of the media market has nothing to do with it. Fortunately, the school prepares the players very well - because they have to, to not get tricked into answering questions that could put them in a bad light. Sam gave credit to his parents and USC on how to handle and deflect media questions they don’t want to answer.
  5. My point, it didn’t stop them from hiring him. USC, only as an OC, now we want to wash our hands of that whole gimmicky offense.
  6. Don’t be so sure about Brady not being ready. USC hired Kliff Kingsbury as our OC after he was fired from TT as the HC. Damn Cardinals hired him as their HC out from under us. You never know with these desperate franchises.
  7. Sure I remember you posting that….awhile back now.
  8. I think he’s calling plays for the talent he has available…..and making up for the talent he doesn’t have. I’m sure he’d call more plays for Sam to air out the ball to Robby, but the oline is only good enough for what you’re seeing.
  9. It’s good being on the same side as a great Tremble play for once, lol.
  10. https://247sports.com/Article/Carolina-Panthers-Sam-Darnold-continues-to-grow-into-lead-role-impresses-teammates-coaching-staff-Matt-Rhule--171618958/ “I think, No. 1, if you watch the way we called the game, it means we trust him. Even on the last drive, we're throwing four verticals with him,” Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said of Darnold. “I say to myself all the time, These are professional football players. They've been doing this their whole lives. Let them go play. Don't try to over-manage the game. Let them go play, let them make plays. Sometimes you go for it fourth and half a foot and you don't get it and they make a play, and sometimes we go make a play. “I think one thing about Sam, he has some moxie. He stayed in the pocket. Had that long run called back, but finding Terrace on the third and 12, I mean, there were some huge conversions by Sam. Again, it's just him playing within the system, but also I think he has a courageousness, but he's not crossing the line going over the top. He's protecting the football and still pushing the ball down there, and look at the play Alex Erickson made. That ball, is it going to be picked, is it not going to be picked. Makes a great play. So a lot of production from a lot of different places." Through three games, Darnold currently leads the league with 888 passing yards and is tied with running backs Derrick Henry and Nick Chubb for the most rushing scores with three to his name. By coming out of the gates strong, Darnold seems to have quickly demonstrated what he is capable of in a new setting in Carolina. “That he can ball man,” Panthers linebacker Haason Reddick said. “Sam, he’s a gamer. Guy’s a flat-out baller right now.” “We got a good one, man,” Panthers left tackle Cameron Erving said. “We’ve got a good one and he’s only going to get better. It’s always hard playing without one of your best players, but Sam stepped up and did a tremendous job tonight.”
  11. Pardon me, but I’m going to salute him my way…..cue “Conquest!”
  12. He looks so relaxed and happy. Haven’t seen that in a long time, it’s genuine and spontaneous. Carolina suits his personality better, more than NY. If you watch the videos after the game, one of the olineman and Riddick (sp?) had a lot of praise for Sam, calling him a “gamer”. If your teammates respect you as the QB, praise your toughness, says more about the QB than any praise by a media member or fans can say. Shut out the noise, play for each other as brothers, the wins will continue.
  13. Team win. No one folded, players stepped up.
  14. Amazing, great coaching, weapons and a lot of support. No wonder he over it there.
  15. I have YouTube TV, the game will be on there! Yay!
  16. Big hugs to you. A great comfort in losing my mom was that I was there for her till the end. Nothing in this world is more valuable and precious than the time you give your children and parents. It brings you peace. Cooking and an immaculate house is way down that list.
  17. Back home, there were fast food Korean, Greek and millions of Mexican, BBQ,etc, fast food places to take home. We are big into the food trucks in SoCal for years now. Farmers Markets are year round, lots of different food sold there by vendors while you’re shopping for fresh produce and fruit. I’ve only been here two years, one year doesn’t count due to the pandemic, so anxious to find the equivalent in TN.
  18. He is behind a much better line than Sam was - young, but still better. Sam didn’t even have a center that could snap the ball….jumping up to catch a ball snapped over your head, takes valuable time from surveying the field and making your reads to throw. *Just checked, Wilson is taller than I thought, same height as Sam, but not as husky/sturdy.
  19. I’m not a vegetarian, but I love my vegetables….I could go a month without eating meat. I need to go through periods with little meat to cleanse my body, lol.
