  1. Yeah if we roll over the $10M we still have this year that's about right
  2. His cap hit is almost $22M next year, $12M non guaranteed after we pay the $9.7M bonus. Next year they can cut him and owe nothing, pay him the $12M in his current contract, or extend him. Depends on how he plays and the value of the draft pick given up obviously
  3. So they're basically paying him $700k and tossing us whatever late pick to try to get their season turned around. Wonder if they'll keep him next year for $12M or just cut bait
  4. So $700k saved and probably a later round pick is better than nothin
  5. Kyler/Robbie/Kingsbury oof that's gonna be a toxic trio
  6. Please no Quinn, coulda just kept Rivera if we just end up there
  7. We've already paid him for 5-6 weeks, It's like $575k someone on Twitter calculated
  8. They restructured his contract during the Watson thing so we owe him that bonus money either way. It's the same $9.7M dead cap hit and $12M saved next year whether we cut him or trade him
  9. San Antonio City Council isn't going to sell him the Alamodome. They do just fine with their own events and concerts, I have a hard time seeing them interested in giving Tepper any money so he can build his own place. It would be nice if Cities got away from letting NFL owners own the actual stadiums they play in unless they can afford their own poo
  10. I think it's the same if we cut him. Yahoo thinks he ruined his trade value, I could see them letting him sit until the trade deadline and then just cutting him if the Packers don't send us a 6th or something 32. Carolina Panthers (1-5): Robbie Anderson could probably be had for a sixth-round pick, but I doubt anyone wants him after Sunday’s sideline outburst. Matt Rhule’s “The Way of the Panther”plan hoodwinked David Tepper and derailed Carolina.
  11. Our secondary is horrible without Horn and Chinn available. Everyone else could be replaced with any other random bunch of jags
  12. I'd assume bench him so he can use Rhule and the injury as an excuse to get another job. At this point I doubt Darnold is chomping at the bit to get back on the field lol. McAdoo is that bad so far with our best O-line in like 7 years
  13. I got to the 3rd quarter and can't do it anymore. Live I can handle it but already having the cliff notes there's nothing worth investigating any further. McAdoo is a horrible OC, we need a MLB, and the corners are jags without Horn taking away the #1 WR. Chinn and Luvu were missed as well. I'm going to watch American Movie in memory of Mike Schank instead
  14. I'll hypothetically take DE/MLB in the 1st and Hooker in round 2. I have no clue if there are any solid LB's or DE's in this class but that's my need based preference. If we pick #1 you might have to take Stroud or trade back if you don't love him, he was on a bye this week so didn't really get a media bump this week
  15. I'm watching the replay now for the first time. First observation, Ricci fuging sucks as a FB. Most teams don't even use one, let alone convert a 3rd string TE to learn how to do it on the job. It was Rhules idea but McAdoo is still running the bs
  16. Not sure where I'm at with this theory. Next year we're already fuged with the cap situation/contracts and lack of draft picks. No one wants Robbie or Donte, DJ might get a 3rd at the current moment, no one wants Shaq. Gonna have to eat that money or just let them play through next year and earn their pay before we can really clean the mess up in 24'
  17. In the sense that the OC should have a couple wrinkles at least. I understand the general shift in approach Wilks had, I think McAdoo is probably just too hard headed to go off whatever script to get a little creative
  18. I'm about to watch the replay, but hey either way Rhule is gone and he's why it's all currently a shitshow. Better to start exposing the frauds now than let the staff try to figure it out behind closed doors in the offseason. The worst part about Rhule's show is you had no idea who was to blame for what. Should be more cut and dry from now on
  19. Replay isn't up yet but watched the highlights. Why was Eason throwing the ball into the endzone on 1st and goal? Also a bunch of D formations looked crazy, and there was one screen pass to CMC earlier with 3 WR's in bunch in front of him to block but it just turned into a pile of people in front of CMC lol. I'll have more thoughts later now that the replay just popped up and I'm a few more beers deep
