I'm not seeing anything special about Ridders contract compared to the guys drafted near him. Guess the holdout either didn't work or they just agreed on some behind the scenes payment schedule of the signing bonus. Worst case scenario Corral would hold out and enter the draft again next year which would probably result in getting picked even lower. Really doubt that sine he's been at all the camps and the player organized thing

Ridder signed a couple days ago and Malik just signed this morning, they were all holding out for more guaranteed money
-
And the actual tweet about it for good measure

In a few years it will be pretty obvious. Rhule didn't want Cam, got Teddy who was too opinionated about the coaching staff, he got Sam who didn't need to be a leader, got Cam back because Sam almost got him fired by week 6, Now traded for another outspoken QB to buy himself another year. Rhule has zero strategy but at the same time is a biyatch when the most important player on the team comes with constructive criticism. Shaq is like the number one vet and he was obviously over whatever was going on last year, and Cam said half the locker room checked out. It's optimistic now as expected but Rhule will fug something up even if it's not a problem

I'd bet on Baker or Corral, if they stick around after Rhule gets sacked
-
Corral undersized issue, not really looking like that big of a difference between the main 3 guys
-
Did they make smores afterwards?
-
People knocking Baker and Corral on their size but will defend Murray and want to draft Bryce Young
-
The Jets are getting black helmets at 3 home games and we only get 1 night game?
-
Good views of how differently the two are built. Deonte looks pretty nimble for being that large.

Yeah no way you can put the Browns in the category of the Rams/Bucs/Chiefs/etc who were all deep playoff teams. All 31 or less sacks. Packers and 49ers 33 sacks. Seahawks had 46 and people bash their O-line as one of the main reasons Wilson left
-
After 2020 Murray was ranked #10 and Baker was #11. I feel like now there is like 7 or so top guys and then all these other dudes just float around from 8-17 or so depending on the year and supporting cast/injuries etc.

After seeing where we were this time last year I'll take Elflein as the weak link at LG until someone can beat him out
-
If they keep Cam Erving to be a $6M back up with the young talent available I'll be surprised. At least Elflein looked invested in playing when he was on the field. I'll be really surprised if Christensen can win the guard job when he should be the top swing tackle
-
I don't like Tom Brady but he's always played for the equivalent of half that to be on a good team. Not sure what's going on with these GM's the last 5 years, It's not the NBA where a couple players change everything
-
If they let him run out his contract and hit FA he'd probably get half that
-
How do you not at least only commit to the 5th year option? 1 winning season resulting in getting completely exposed in a playoff game. As soon as he loses 1/4 of his speed he's a liability
-
And now with the Baker thing, it'll be more entertaining than watching Sam back there but it's still one year, either pay him $30M a year next year or try Corral, start over again for the 4th year in a row. We should be in a way better place "process" wise at this point, we shouldn't be going into 23 with Corral as the only QB on the roster and $30M over the cap.
-
They sure like using him at all the PR events
-
His competition is Elflein/Deonte/Jordan/Mays/Daley, all have more guard experience but obvious flaws. Mays has the size you want but didn't live up to his HS hype, who knows what Campen can get out of any of these guys. As long as they cut Cam Erving I'll be satisfied with whatever Campen wants
