Hornets Acquire Montrezl Harrell from Washington
Jackie Lee replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Charlotte Hornets
Pretty sure Harrell's salary is more than Carey and Ish combined? -
I was just thinking about that, if Mcadoo being the OC was a stipulation for this staff in 2020, I don't think Rhule would have taken the job nor would Tepper have given him the job (depending on who hypothetically would have brought Mcadoo into the conversation). There is no process or program building which is the only thing Rhule is supposedly good at
-
Not really understanding the need for a thread commenting on a random guys drug dealing issues
-
He got manhandled by the Ravens in preseason so he probably just sucks in blocking. Rhule liked him because, quote, "He's just like, a regular guy!". I'm sure he wants to play and we coulda got him in UDFA but it wasn't exactly a pressing need when there was Trey Smith and a couple DT's available that were not gonna be available post draft
-
He would do the same
-
Tepper let Rhule pick a yes man, who from his end of the season presser tried to distance himself as much as possible without outright saying it. He mocked Rhule on the arm length thing, and then said he's available for input on OC hires if Rhule wants his opinion. Just a shitty backstabbing tanking lame duck situation at every level
-
Chances of him falling asleep mid game?

Matt Rhule now has two staff vacancies
Jackie Lee replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's really tough to say how any of that is on Frisman with Rhule not playing TMJ or Shi, Darnold throwing most of the footballs, and the O-line/OC issues. 10 yard comeback routes to the sidelines isn't exactly much to work with, that seemed like our go to route 80% of the time. Shi looked good when he did get playing time and Rhule makes those decisions -
These are his number in Detroit as DC before he basically retired in 2020. Detroit initially decided to retain Pasqualoni after a season which the Lions finished 26th in points allowed (26.4) and 31st in yards allowed (400.4). The Lions allowed opponents to convert 43.93% of third downs, which was 28th in the league.
-
He basically retired when he left the Lions so this is odd. Rhule is definitely down to everyones spare parts assembling this random coaching staff. No rhyme or reason to any of it really

Matt Rhule now has two staff vacancies

I hope not, in every Panthers interview he sounds like someone who should be an assistant at the NFL level -
Sounds like elder abuse having him outside at training camp
-
So Rhule's options are limited to young inexperienced college guys or dinosaurs. This seems like a "Finally found a guy to say yes" signing.

Then again I'd leave Rhule for Tomlin in a heartbeat lol -

Interesting he'd take a job at a place that also has no idea who their QB is going to be next year. Must be a Mcadoo thing -
I'm pretty sure no one is going through the trouble of adding a feather symbol to the word indian when you can just say native american lol. Welcome to the 2000's. The only reason the term indian was ever used is because Columbus' dumbass thought he was in India
-
His agent would be like Don't fuging Do That!!! All this hypothetical free agency stuff with QB's and O-line is not realistic. No one is coming here unless it's their last option, until Rhule is gone
-
He's at the least smart enough to realize he's a great backup to Josh Allen, could eventually step in and be a Nick Foles level guy. Those Kinda guys aren't gonna blow that by being one and done for Rhule.

Worst Kept Secret at the Senior bowl (Panthers Interest in Pickett)
Jackie Lee replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yup, he fumbled two snaps in one rainy practice last week. -
Yeah I really doubt Belichick was planning on him being anything besides a place holder at the position. He pretty much drafts a qb every two years, unlike the Panthers who prefer to try and fix other teams busts
-
Totally agree, I left out the 2019/Burns year because there weren't any QB's worth taking, same as this year unless we had a 2nd/3rd rnd pick and you wanted a long term backup/developmental guy for cheap.
