  1. I agree 100%. But vs Garrett this game? I don't think anyone or any rookie is that good. This isn't the game to practice run blocking or pass blocking for confidence against the best in the league.
  2. I don't know that running at Garrett is what you want to do either. Guy is a monster in that area as well. I think staying away from him and his side as much as possible is the call.
  3. Pat Elflien is bad.. Why is he starting over bozeman? I mean didn't we see enough of him last year? Why.. Why..why..
  4. I don't know about all that. But top 10 talent on a bad team... Sure I can argue that. But who are the top 10 on this team
  5. Horn was getting grabby all day with cooper like a peddo priest in confessionals. Basically he was getting abused and didnt have any other choice. It didnt show on the stat sheet but it happened and showed on the penalty yards.
  6. Burns is fine. He's got elite athleticism and contributes more to the team than just sacks. Disruption is production it just doesn't show up on the stat sheet. How much attention is being paid to burns? How many times are they forced to chip him and double him? Anyone who demands attention from the other tram to scheme around is a asset. That said who is the other pass rusher to take advantage of the 1v1? This is where reddick is missed. Gross is a jag and luvu God bless his effort just isn't elite anywhere except effort.
  7. Who the fuc actually drafts a pure run stopping Defensive tackle in the top 10???? Has that ever been done in the modern era? Then he's not even good at stopping the run lol. This was a easy bust call. Guy ran a 5.1 I said no immediately...
  8. He's ass. He didnt have the measurables or the ability to be taken where we drafted him. He doesn't have any stand out traits. He's slow and his run stopping ability is overrated
  9. I think baker is better on the move I don't this his arm and accuracy is as good.
  10. Humm just for argument sake are we saying Mayfield as a prospect is more talented than Kerry Collins... Because the evaluator in me would say no.
  11. Our line was bad last year.. But those bad players who started and we're option number 1 Erving the Guard and our center are now backups.. Having our backups who started now as option 2 is depth to me now the best case scenario from last season is plan B. That's good. Same could be said with the return for the return of CMC. He's a def up grade but we skated by with Chubba... And I think foreman is better than him. Defensive line could be meh.. But that's about it. I think despite losing Reddick who was arguably our best pass rusher.. luvu should be fine.. Barno is a decent option littleton and Smith offer quality depth.. I think we patched the holes nicely. Even darnold who was viewed as a starter as plan b is a upgrade.
  12. I would say offensive line as well.. Most of our starters erving and our guard and center are backups now gives us options
  13. I'm as big a Rhule skeptic as anyone but bear with me. If he fails this season it won't be for lack of effort. I feel this staff attempted to do everything within it's power to make this team a playoff contender. Fits held true to his motto"in on every deal" and I feel like we did have a shot at anyone. For the first time in never I felt like if anyone was released or available my gm would take a look. That's a great feeling. Depth is as good as it's been in I want to say almost a decade. QBs.. No proven superstar but feeling better about baker and if he does go down darnold could be called upon in a pinch to try to steady the ship. We rarely have a capable backup. Like...never.. Rbs at cmc or bust for the most part but foreman is solid and chubba hands aside isn't the worse.. Wr.... Have we ever had this many options? Moore is legit..not sure about Robbie..higgy looks capable..shi is emerging..who knows what we have in TMJ could be good could be bad but it's a legit option. Shenault JR puts pressure on Wrs and a possible RB option as well.. It's weapons.. We all know what's going on with the line.. so much depth we were able to trade a guy and get compensated for it! But won't go into details here it's better period. Defensive line has options but could be better.. A lot depends on YGM development. He will be key. We know who burns is Frankie is a high energy high effort guy he's going to do his best every snap and that makes the loss of reddick not as bad. Smith is a future starter.. Secondary is where I'm most comfortable.. Maybe one of the best in the league? I think it's early... But I expect horn to eventually become a top 5 cb in the league.. Henderson looks like he is progressing and the investment is paying off. Jackson can run with anyone and has hart.. Some nice depth behind those guys if called apon. We know what Chinn brings.. He's a turnover guy in every position you put him at makes plays.. Woods is as solid a running mate as chinn has had since he's been here. Having Burris and Heartfield as backups makes me feel comfortable they looked good in flashes.
  14. Agreed... Plus cb is a strength right now so it would be hard for him to make it... I hope he clears waivers and returns still high up side
  15. Barnes cut...i liked him thought he showed real fight and speed.
  16. Going to be interesting what happens at we and who goes to the practice squad here. Wonder if our 380 pound dt mccall makes the roster of goes to the practice squad.
  17. Higgins wins off associations to new QB. Already established connection and from everything I have seen he can do what Zylstra can do only better. Z was good and did everything asked of him but he's limited..
  18. But you could also apply that to any situation... Steve smith could be randy moss if you made him 7-8 inches taller and increase his speed by .4 tenths a second...
  19. That's like saying mike tolbert and cmc typically do the same thing. Because hey they play the same position and both catch the football...
  20. Damn I love fitts... Such a breath of fresh air as opposed to the scared to make a move conservative approach of old. Being in on every deal is how all teams should go about business.. Even if you not buying you damn better be window shopping if your trying to win in this league... Doesn't hurt to inquire.
  21. What's the first thing you think of when you think Curtis Samuel? For me it's speed.. He ran a 4.31 or so. LVjr couldn't do that in his dreams. I think Samuel developed into a legit wr as per his large contract with Washington... LVjr still trying to figure it out.. Norris is on the record saying he's to slow to play on the outside and was the worst wr last year. I just think they are 2 opposite entities.no disrespect.
  22. What? No no no. They really aren't that much alike. Samuel was a speed merchant legit deep ball threat with good agility. I guess LV jr, is like the powerback version of that... He's a hybrid like Samuel... But that's where the comparisions stop. They both play a wr/hb role..but how they win are opposites.
