  1. It's impossible to tell without being in the building but the biggest thing for me is confidence in himself, which happened once he finally had confidence in the offensive line which for some reason didn't happen until after his benching. Him being benched was his first football failure of his football life, he's been successful at every level since high school on incredibly talented teams. Biggest difference I've seen with him is staying in the pocket and also keeping his eyes up. He's legitimately eating big hits on the chin like a pro and still delivering darts. He's suddenly unshakeable it's great to see. I thought he always flashed some good throws with some anticipation so that's been there, with his confidence back his accuracy also returned to form. He still has to work on balls to the boundary but those are notoriously difficult. tl;dr: confidence.
  2. He's been a bit injured recently correct? I'll try and chalk it up to a bad game, but that terrible ATL miss always lingers in my mind. I won't deny he's been solid, but I haven't reached the point where I think he's going to nail a clutch kick when it's needed.
  3. XL has the worst decision making/instincts when the ball is just about to hit his hands. He either jumps, which throws off his timing/balance making it harder on himself, or does the slide yesterday which also throws off the timing/balance. It makes him play smaller than his size. He's a good athlete and his route running has been much better than we anticipated based off the scouting report but you cannot be a #1 guy in the league with shoddy hands like he's shown so far. He has to fix it somehow, I have hope based on his progression as a WR I watched at SC. Will always be pulling for him.
  4. Canales is very far down the list of reasons we lost this game. Players let him down today for the most part.
  5. I agree but he had good reason to abandon it today. Wasn’t effective much at all and BY was cooking a bit today.
  6. Saying Canales play calling has been bad all season is laughable. Especially compared to what we’ve had to watch in the past.
  7. I agree he should’ve gone for it but he abandoned the run for good reason. I’ll die on that hill just for today. I know he’s done that in the past but Tampa negated our run game in a big way today.
  8. He abandoned the run because he should’ve. Tampa played well in the trenches today and stifled our strength.
  9. Man just hold on to the ball with two hands in that situation no matter what. He knows better.
  10. Chuba and Eddie can hold that L for us. Good game tho and helps draft position
  11. Easily JTO's most positive film review of Bryce. The anticipation shout outs, shouting out the play calling and design from Canales, the ball placement, the way he suddenly is able to stand tall and climb the pocket where necessary. There's something worth keeping here at QB all the sudden. Shocking turnaround.
  12. This is exactly what I thought of as well. Jaycee had a tough day against a borderline HoF receiver it's alright.
  13. I need Sheena to start tweeting that after practice there are now 2 people hitting the JUGS machine. Chuba and XL.
  14. That’s called passing the eye test right against a good defense
  15. Everyone talked about the eye test and he passed it for the most part today. Can nitpick here and there for sure but he was making plays out there.
  16. He will not stop jumping unnecessarily and it kills him constantly
  17. Dude. BY can’t place that any better for you XL!!!!!!
  18. No idea why BY doesn’t throw the ball to Moore(?) there rolling right. It couldn’t be more obvious
  19. He fractured his neck, calling it now
  20. Lol Bryce is dealing today good for him.
  21. Thank god. Run plays until touchdown or turnover on downs here
  22. Oh my god. How the f do you not call a run play there Canales
  23. It’s a good defense. Get over yourself
