  1. Yes and Gilmore and Clowney . What's the point?
  2. Exactly. Look at this poo https://www.si.com/nfl/lions/news/lions-2023-nfl-draft-grades
  3. Sanders was a 5 yds per carry career guy over 4 seasons until he came to this dumpster fire of coaching and OL injuries. It's not insane to think he could be more productive in a new system behind a bolstered interior line. Cutting him helps nothing. The very best scenario is to give him the ball and if he looks good hope for a mid season trade for something while Brooks gets back to 100%. Such as a serious contender responding to injuries needing vet help. (Chiefs, etc)
  4. The inside depth chart needs a lot help than outside is a better way to say I suppose
  5. True but variety of types is valid and the coach (especially one of his background) selecting deliberately is understandable.
  6. Look at the roster and who we had at each. The OLB two deep was set. The inside wasnt.
  7. I admit to not paying close attention to it but I've not heard anyone outside this community say he's not a good blocker. Just the opposite
  8. He's worthy of being on the roster for the grunt work but not at his salary. Ideally he would stay at greatly reduced salary. Unfortunately TEs are either receivers or blockers. I heard it said Gronk was last true TE
  9. One of the guys in the first short list of prospect meetings. So they were eying him.
  10. Yeah we have more than enough at running back. Hopefully one of these udfa offensive lineman can become serviceable depth
  11. Leggette doesn't need to start day 1 either. Regardless of when he was taken he's a 2nd rounder. He should certainly contribute day 1. Day 1 is irrelevant really. What matters is the years these guys contribute not the games first season
  12. It get repeated by a handful of you in every thread. We know where Morgan worked.
  13. Every player who has an injury isn't injury prone or every player alive would have that label. They have completely different situations medically.
  14. My concern is injury. I don't doubt he can be at least serviceable. Corbett is the only viable option on the roster and coming off 2 knee injuries. I don't believe you can ever rest on your laurels when it comes to OL. I don't think anyone would be cool with assuming the Duke guard can be a starting C from the get go.
  15. Well.....I will look for positives but try not to claim anything definitive and get caught up in arguments
  16. Four https://www.nfl.com/draft/tracker/prospects/rb/all-colleges/drafted/2024?page=1
  17. I believe some here interpreted the idea he has size and tighter hips to mean he is a bad route runner. I can't find anything saying he is bad at route running. The most negative things i find say he will need to further develop route tree. But that there was generally positive things to say about his vertical route stem and indications he could build on the more precision route concepts.
