He had Hurney and Gentleman and was never expected to be a personnel guy. Hurney and Gentleman are equally terrible. Ron was never even rumored to have been in control of the roster to where we could say he sabotaged it with defense. In reality Gettlemen just screwed the pooch in every hole when everything was looking good.

All have been labeled press conference on YouTube and they are answering questions from the press

All the coaches are giving them I suppose. Last few days has been a sequence of them. All on YouTube

It's his for the taking

They will differentiate themselves during the private visits. If you listen to Fitterer

The Bryce Young alts aren't the brightest bulbs and are unfortunately doing the guy a disservice. Hopefully Panther fans aren't so put off by them they hold it against him. It's not his fault.

Mike Kaye: Panthers looking to add EDGE player

I'd error on the side of offensive line. Make sure whoever we pick never has to worry about the line. -

Cap wise we're committed to a draft picks salary at QB now -
That would make him epic moron as well. Why trade up if you can mold any QB?

Much rather invest in the future. This isn't a Superbowl run

I'd just get vet who's actually played 3-4 OLB on a short contract -

Barno is the prototype for this. I hope he capitalizes on the situation -

They forgot to list the biggest roster subtraction. -
On paper it's a good mix with Thielen in slot and Marshall at Z. Marshall was used in various ways but seemed to be mostly a mix of x and z. It will be interesting to see how the new staff uses him. They are likely to mix these guys up but they will have their primary roles.

Thielen is primarily a slot receiver https://www.pff.com/news/pro-thielen-getting-majority-of-minnesota-slot-wr-work-in-preseason Chark is a primarily an X https://www.si.com/nfl/lions/news/what-lions-are-getting-in-dj-chark-jr

WR1, 2, 3 are fantasy terms not types. X, y, etc are roles. Some play multiple roles but the roles have general characteristics. Like the different techniques played by defensive lineman and the player characteristics that fit them. There's plenty of info online about this if you want to read about it in detail

Good Question.. What type of edge do you want..

They were linebackers -
Instead of being identical to Eddie Piniero.

Chasing the next Mahomes and trying to copy that sounds like a terrible idea. But Im starting to understand that it's the occasional fancy throw people are enamored with.

Nothing whatsoever wrong with a Mayfield comparison. Mayfield was more productive though with better completion percentage and passer rating and a little bit more of a downfield passer than Young is.

Fitterer said Evero doesn't run a tru 3/4 and the guys he added were exactly the types of bodies he wanted for his gap and a half front. Tuttle is bigger than his NT from Denver or from Rams the year prior. We still have McCall who is prototypical NT size
