  1. All stud TEs to consider...this draft is abundant IMO. Cam Latu Arik Gilbert Tucker Kraft Luke Schoonmaker Sam LaPorta Darnell Washington Dalton Kincaid Luke Musgrave Michael Mayer
  2. This is maybe one of the best TE classes in 20 years and Kincaid may be my favorite of them all after the ND kid. Would absolutely love him in round 2.
  3. Did a PFFer: R1 Anthony Richardson QB Florida - Mega upside QB R2 Dalton Kincaid TE Utah - Star TE R3 Mazi Smith IDL Michigan - Monster next to Brown & Burns? Yes please R3-4 Micah Baskerville LB LSU - Micah enters next to Luvu & Smith, Shaq exits R3-4 Kenre Miller RB TCU - No problem in having him min RB3, competing for carries. Have a committee like other good squads. R4 Clayton Tune QB Houston - 2nd QB to see if there's a diamond here R4-5 Malik Knowles WR KSU - One of the mid-round WRs I definitely like
  4. Pretty much. For some recent 1st rounders like Jones & Pickett, that's why they got passed by a lot of QB needy teams, including us, and it's for a reason. If you aren't hitting prototype measurables, you need to possess some sort of elite trait in your game, ideally a combo of a few. I.E.: accuracy, arm, mechanics, footwork, consistent GWDs, etc. They just hit the benchmark on a few things and had great college numbers. So close enough to the size you want, but just nothing special once separated from Bama and, let's be honest with Pickett, Jordan Addison. AJ McCarron syndrome. And on the flip side, if you're developmental, you need obvious physical traits or an apparent star ceiling. I think many to most teams determined Willis did not possess that ceiling last year and it shows when he's gone in for TEN. Same for what Ridder and Corral brought to the table. People got starry eyed with Corral's release but he seems to be really raw coming from that Ole Miss system. Now, has has this been proven otherwise at times? Sure, Brees, Brady, Dak, and Wilson were misses for many squads. But those are exceptions. At the end of the day, I see that star upside in Richardson, and with guys like Penix, Ward, Daniels returning to school, there's a pretty big cliff unless you're hoping a 2nd-4th rounder buds into something like Tune, McConnell, Duggan, etc. You take that boom/bust guy in the QB3-4 range, just like the Chiefs, Bills, Ravens, & Chargers did. Get the specimen with all the tools, trust you can develop with the right staff & team--that's the recipe.
  5. "But Mac Jones has unbelievable processing speed, I'll ignore the fact everything else about him is pedestrian or below. He's also very smaht, multiple DUI smaht. Wicked good"
  6. Yeah I'm pipe dreaming. Brian Johnson in PHI looks cool but get what you're saying, could be hard to sustain. Good OC's are being pried left and right into HC spots. McDaniel, O'Connell, Taylor, the list goes on. Steichen and Ben Johnson will be next. About the only guy that's perked my interest in Darrell Bevell in MIA. He could do well back in an OC role (much better than McAdoo, but I don't think he's HC material)
  7. We lost to the Ravens with Baker stinking it up. But I hear you.
  8. Nice write up. If we're rolling with him come season's end, we really need a focused search on getting a legitimate offensive mind in house that won't leave immediately for a HC gig. Priority #1 alongside QB.
  9. Massive heart attack apparently.
  10. I agree on the philosophy and we may honestly end up in a very ideal spot to land him. The Richardson, FA/Darnold, & Corral route may be one to go for our QB group. And then, if we like a guy later to take a stab on in R4-6, might as well. Competition never hurts.
  11. That would show some gall to go there and face SEC defenses. He'll be able to show what he's got really shortly into 2024. If I were a kid like him, I'd be seeing what looks good out West. Just seems like the spot where dudes can bloom.
  12. If we're talking whose made consistent Sunday-level throws...I'm ALL in on Clayton Tune. My suspicion is teams have noticed; he just seems like a dude. Stone cold. O'Connell and Haener have impressed me as well. Even with the school returns, there's a lot more mid-round talent than usual at the QB spot. Not many top-of-draft guys, but a lot in the likes of how ones like Minshew, Prescott, Cousins, & Love were viewed as prospects. I like them better than last year's round 3 batch, but not enough to have as top-end 1sts. My Current Rankings: 1. Bryce Young (Top 5) 2. CJ Stroud (Top 12) 3. Anthony Richardson (Top 20) *4- Jayden Daniels - Return to LSU? (Rd 1) 4. Tanner McKee (Rd 1-2) 5. Will Levis (Rd 1-2) Yes, I'd rather have Daniels & McKee over Levis *6- Cameron Ward - Return to WSU? (Rd 2-3) 6. Clayton Tune (Rd 2-3) 7. Aidan O'Connell (Rd 3-4) 8. Max Duggan (Rd 3-4) ---this is around where I'd peg Corral & Ridder--- 9. Jake Haener (Rd 4-6) 10. Jaren Hall (Rd 4-6) 11. Hendon Hooker (Rd 4-6)
  13. Vrabel is a very good coach in TEN, producing a lot with a FO making pretty strange moves. And with that being said, I can see Luke being SOOO much better than that guy. If this possibility is bettered with Wilks as HC, I'd be inclined to ramp up the OC/AHC search pronto in tandem with a HC search. I imagine we'd want to see what Wilks could align with to compare to a potential staff of another HC. Reich, Bevell, or maybe Brian Johnson? https://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/eagles/could-eagles-lose-qb-coach-brian-johnson-head-coach-job
  14. This McCall kid should go to Oregon State. He needs that pass heavy west coast stat padding. They're a good group and need a QB. He also gives me Matt Moore vibes (for better or worse) so there it is, that is the way.
  15. I'd be down for a 3rd on Duggan. I'd like also to throw Aidan O'Connell & Clayton Tune into the mix in that range. It appears my faves in Cam Ward and Jayden Daniels still need to make their decisions. Both have sky high potential. They may both be going back as well. Have the Round 1 ceiling if they return to school, probably R3-5 if they don't.
  16. Mac Jones is bland and blah and meh and merhp.
  17. I really hope we randomly strike gold with a QB. We could be a flip of the switch contender if we just find the right guy for this team. Doesn't need to be Peyton, just the right guy to win games for us. Where art thou?
  18. I can see Levis going before Stroud and we trade up slightly for CJ. I know people aren't fans of his game when he plays from behind, but there's a lot of talent to like with him.
  19. I'd say there's a distinct tier, I'm counting 7 clear cut tier 1s: (3) DL: Carter, Anderson, Murphy (1) QB: Bryce (2) WR: Addison & Johnson (1) OL: Skoronski (1) CB: Cam Smith *Bresee, Stroud, Mayer, & Ringo have arguments for it but see a bit of a shift looking at them and readiness+impact combo.

  21. Yep. That's the one we have to eat as it led to the Rhule/Baker collapse. But Falcons, oh wee mayne. Could be 6-7, tied for first, and playing Mitch next week for the outright lead.
  22. I totally do! Was at that game, happened catty corner from my section but it was ridiculous. He did like a shoulder huge type-thing to chat with a ref (like half of QBs do these days) and was ejected. Remember that being such a sensitive ejection on the refs part. It's a pick and choose for these guys. The helmet rule is one that should just be scrapped if they aren't going to call it 90%+ of the time.
