  1. A shining light today (w/a tad of flawed logic) is that this Iggles staff was all Reich understudies not long ago. So at least we've got that going for us
  2. The visor v. the flat brim. Truly a sight to behold.
  3. I am and will forever be grateful (and have zero regrets) that we got a top-3 all-time LB (possibly top-5 defensive player all time) in Kuechly in 2012, but Fletcher Cox has had himself a HOF career and could grab his second SB this season. I remember wanting him soooo bad in that draft so it's cool to see him still going strong and leading that defense. One of the most unheralded D-lineman in the entire league IMO.
  4. Also--outside of Philly, the NFC is open damn season next year. Really hope we figure this QB situation out.
  5. Do people not realize it was likely that the UFA in Reddick wanted to play for his favorite team that he grew up loving, in his hometown? The Burns/Reddick stuff is so ridiculous. If you don't want Burns fine, but it was highly unlikely we were going to retain Reddick and it was something I believe many were okay with at the time.
  6. We literally have no idea who Reich has in mind, has spoken to, or how he wants to do this. Who even knows if Fangio was his top choice. All we know is that we interviewed him while still looking for an HC. Anyone getting mad already has some serious machinations bubbling in their dome and needs a snickers.
  7. Overall, just a smart, well executed drive there for the Iggles.
  8. He's got that Beckham/G Wilson type gene. Such a great blend of finesse and explosive. Perfect route runner, sub 4.4. Just a stud.
  9. Yup. Plenty of great minds out there and no reason to get stirred up...and the ones we may now land aren't necessarily retiring within a decade.
  10. Yeah he’s probably moreso checking out Coconut Grove and Coral Country Clubs haha
  11. I see the Spanos family wiping the entire LAC FO to shreds this next offseason and that being the spot for Payton. Cowboys will be in play as well. Those two possibilities alone are probably worth Payton saving his own time and meanwhile, make millions for doing next to nothing on Fox.
  12. There have been 3 more Jurassic Parks and 5 Star Wars films made since the Panthers SB run. Harambe's death was more recent than our SB run cries
  13. The Pats Monday nighter was nearly a DECADE ago. That 2013 team...Smitty, TD, Luke, Gross, Kalil, Prime Cam, Greg, Tolbert, Stewart, Gamble, Norman, Charles Johnson, Hardy. The talent was INSANE. Thanks Hurney and Gettleman, your services were very much appreciated /s
  14. Where the hell did time go? Can't believe his rookie year was nearly 12 years ago. Almost 4 full seasons removed from Cam. Almost at the 20 mark from Cardiac. Hell, kids born after Delhomme's opener comeback against JAX can drink alcohol. This aging thing is crazy. I'd like a good team again, please. Someone, anyone...
  15. Irsay is probably joining the meetings now with his only question: "What do you think about working with Jeff Saturday on your staff? Because my buddy ain't leaving"
  16. What's even trying to be accomplished here? It's a business. That's it. They made a decision; move on.
  17. The modern defense is so mixed scheme wise, there's barely even a true "base" defense for over half the teams. We do need a guy that could line 3 or 5 tech depending on Brown and Burns' assignments. Absolutely LOVED Justin Madubuike the other year and that player type is who I'd love to target.
  18. Not to mention Wentz didn't entirely work out, yet they've since won a SB and are one of the final 4 this year. Comes to show all of the supposed capital they gave up didn't even have THAT big of an impact in their build in the greater scheme of things. If you think you found a QB, go get the dude.
  19. Skip and Shannon are just mega annoying click chasers. They never seem to have a pulse on any of the teams they talk about in any sort of depth. Just crap ESPN shows being crap.
  20. True, it'd still be cool to grab one or two to grow with the young gun from day 1. Could help create an entirely new and tight locker room. I hear ya though. I'll tell you one thing, it's sure as hell refreshing to be past the HC hire and look towards the build out now.
  21. Yeah, my only added want within this type of move is adding weapons on rookie deals that fit well and can grow with our QB. If you find the guys that fit, you find a way to get them. This draft has some really promising mid rounders at WR, TE, & RB. Land a Stroud, you can still get some variation of a WR/TE/RB combo pack. There's a lot to like after the consensus R1 ranks...some ideas being... WR: Josh Downs, Rashee Rice, Jonathan Mingo, Malik Knowles, Moreno-Cropper TE: Luke Musgrave, Dalton Kincaid, Luke Schoonmaker RB: Zach Charbonnet, Sean Tucker, Tyjae Spears, Chase Brown, Roschon Johnson, Abanikanda
