  1. JT was tired of the boring sh*t. He seems ready to make some noise.
  2. He's probably going to be in the 2026 class so I wouldn't develop a hard lined opinion on the guy quite yet. Big arm but has some stuff to work on.
  3. He'll have to be activated to the 53 so it will start with small drips. No doubt they should be careful, but that's why he's nearing ready now and not at the start of season (the timeline that Brooks' team and himself thought was best case scenario)
  4. Canales has remained very coach-speak-y about his debut, but sounds like it could/should be happening and if he's practicing in full, looks like he should be ahead of the window closing next Wed. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/jonathon-brooks-injury-update-panthers-rb-logs-full-practice-as-rookie-inches-toward-nfl-debut/
  5. Looks like Carr will be back and Haener has officially supplanted Rattler (who was awful, sorry SC fans)
  6. I know we all want to be excited about Coker and XL but I’m still to scarred to trust a limited window of production. Big Coker fan regardless - he passes the eye test in my opinion.
  7. If Bryce has a real stinker, I would honestly love to just throw Jack Plummer out there at this point. See if a rookie UDFA at QB1 & WR1 can produce better than 2023's #1 overall & Diontae.
  8. All the rumors about him must definitely be true. Must have a terrible locker room vibe.
  9. True. I was thinking a conditional 5th that could become a 4th dependent on snaps/output. This was a "just get this guy off the team" type of trade.
  10. So we gave up Donte Jackson & our 6th for Baltimore's 5th (which is likely going to be 5-10 picks from the our 6th rounder anyways lol) That's a ~10 pick shift up. Wow.
  11. Titans look the most on our level. Jets aren’t far off. Raiders randomly have decent spurts but mostly suck. Oh and the Saints have sputtered into a pretty terrible deal. That’s kind of the cellar situation. Pats could get another win or so to get to 4/5. Same with the Giants. Think it’s us and the Titans for #1.
  12. My final guess is a conditional 4th rounder to Detroit. They're firing on all cylinders, having Sun God and Diontae would give Goff a stellar situation at WR. Then Jamo returns, that's a solid 3 with Gibbs/Monty and LaPorta finally starting to cook.
  13. The bigger indictment on Canales this season has honestly been what Coen has been able to do in TB with a near identical offense personnel wise (minus a few parts). That’s a legit offensive coordinator. Not saying Canales can’t be but it’s been a rough go no doubt. Thought he’d be scheming some guys open a bit better than what we’ve seen. I don’t know if he was playing it safe for Bryce or what, but it was crazy how many plays were non-pocket reads, trying to get someone the ball quickly in space (but with no motion/pre snap work to he’ll get the defense off balance.
  14. Yep. In totality, 12 rec (14 targets), 186 yards, 1td in 4 games as basically our 3rd option. That is a super promising start, especially considering our passing game average during that stretch has been 168 yards per game. Some fun stats: Coker owns ~28% of our passing yards since he started playing full games (not counting the 1 target vs. CIN. And that's on only 14 of 128 pass attempts this team has made -- so he's been able to account for nearly 30% of our entire passing game off of an 10.9% target share. That's wild. Don't know if that's more impressive for him or shows how poorly we've been throwing the ball.
  15. Jakobi Meyers, Welker, Theilen, Cruz, Miles Austin, Doug Baldwin, Malcolm Floyd...there are good modern examples that you can hit and find long term contributors that slipped through the cracks. I really hope this is one of those cases. Would be nice to find some sort of bright spots this year.
  16. I refuse to get too reactive over receivers in this joint. But from what I've seen, he knows how to gain leverage even if a guy is stuck to him. Works well against man. Has made noise against decent vets. Also has some decent short area work against zone. Very surprised by what he's been able to do on this anemic offense. Given we had dibs on UDFA claims and he was our priciest signing bonus, he was basically pick 258. And for what we've endured all over the draft -- and tried with KB, Colbert, TMJ, Gettis, Jarrett, Pilares, Armanti, Shi, Godwin, Biddle, hell, Joe Adams, could we have finally had an okay hit on a WR that so many teams seem to figure out and we consistently miss? Just chuck him and XL the ball as much as we can. Keep getting them involved - they look like they can stick around. Would like to see what they could do in an offense that's got a bit more psaz.
  17. At this point, behind this line, I’d be okay getting Stidham/Rush/Lock to just play gunslinger ball. I’m probably not looking at it right but we suck and there’s limited options. We’ll lose a lot but they could probably produce some moments behind this line a potential star at WR. I just really don’t know about this QB class and I usually can get excited for at least a few every year. Feel the ick with this entire top of the first. Or maybe just roll the dice in the 2nd if value aligns. Fvck I hate this team.
  18. I strongly dislike this draft. I don’t think a single player would crack the top-12 in the 2024 class As things stand with the games that have been played, think these chumps would go Mason Graham. I’d personally have no idea. I like Tmac, Sanders and Nuss but don’t think many are worth it. This franchise is in such a gutter. Just terrible.
  19. Even the sh*t relief QBs these days can get to 200. It’s more of an eye thing but if I’m throwing stats down: 180+ yards, max 1 TO, 1 TD, but most importantly, over 6.5 YPA would make me think he’s not completely lost.
  20. Diontae clearly isn't liking things so I doubt he re-signs here with the QB position even more unsettled than when he came. So I definitely see a trade with him to a contender in need. SF would be ideal. WAS could be a sleeper. Heck, maybe Denver after they beat the piss out of us. Nix needs a better target and they’ve given up on Sutton. Don’t see much else happening.
  21. Broncos defense is rolling right now. Close your eyes everyone. Zach Allen IDP-DL to the moon
  22. I see an intentional pre-deadline tank conspiracy coming from this idea lol. Dalton is throwing games to keep Bryce’s stock a mid rounder!
