  1. I agree we won't win a ton of games if our offense isn't a bigger part of the plan. We didn't have to or try to do that today. As Bryce continues to grow and get better we'll get more games from him and the offense carrying the load. Yes, he, Canales and the rest of the offense has to be much more consistent in producing points on offense. No question. As you say, we've seen that in spurts. Should a number 1 overall pick come out carrying a team? No, despite what fans think. It's rare for any young player to be born into the league fully formed. What I saw today was mistakes being corrected. I'm not going to try to gaslight you saying Bryce hasn't had his share of games we'd all like to forget but since his benching last year he has continued to get better and better. No, it hasn't been in a straight line but that's just not reality for anyone. Last year he had 9 picks in 14 games and 3 lost fumbles. This year through 3 games he has 3 picks and 2 lost fumbles. The amount of pass attempts show me a staff and a team who are not afraid to pass. They are not protecting Bryce more than any other team would protect their QB. The rate at which we threw downfield last year shows me the same thing. The number of potential game winning drives also point to the fact that we aren't limiting our passing attack. We routinely put the ball in Bryce's hands to get a crucial 3rd downs and 4th downs. The results are not always what we want but I don't see any lack of trust or faith in him. Tetairoa is tops or leading rookies in yards and catches. Unless he's throwing it to himself, I'd say we are getting him the ball without too much trouble. It would be even better if Tetairoa would put two hands on the ball when trying to catch those deep endzone shots. Bryce hasn't earned an extension yet and he might not but he and the team had a great game today. I'm going to enjoy watching all of them continue to grow together and hope those spurts start to get ironed out and this roller coaster has a few less dips. Keep pounding.
  2. Pie to the whole team. Canales for a great gameplan. Great mix of run and pass and using play action to keep the defense off balance. Pie to Evero. Love seeing what Evero can do with more talent. I can't wait to watch the All-22 to see how much of Penix's play was him and how much was our D confusing him. Pie to Tetairoa for being Him in the making. Pie to Cade. I've been high on him since he filled in last year against the Eagles and Giants and held his own against some of the NFL's best interior defenses. Pie to Zavala. I thought you were a bust until today. I'm sorry. You proved me wrong. Good game. Pie to me cause having a slice sounds like a great way to celebrate this win.
  3. We need another offensive threat at receiver to help Tetairoa. Maybe XL being sat down helps him the way last year helped Bryce. I'm starting to really like how Canales deals with struggling players. Coker coming back could be huge but it's still a few weeks away. Sanders also looks like he has the ability to be that weapon as well.
  4. Thank god they finally put Dalton in. Now, we have a chance.
  5. Big difference in pressure today. Both Scourton and Pricely made an impact today. 11 was constantly getting good push.
  6. You can't just win or play well, you have to have your QB throw for 350 yards and 3 TD's. Love him or hate him, he did his job today. That's my quarterback. Great job all around today by everyone. Good game plan and play calling by the coaches and good execution by the players in all three phases. The only mistakes that stick out to me today is few missing gaps on run defense and Bryce throwing the pass behind Renfrow. I love that Canales remembered to give Bryce a solution on blitzes. He's gone back to finding the hot receiver in the face of pressure.
  7. Oh man, please. I will dancer in the street if the final score is 28-3.
  8. Millian saying, "If the Panthers go up 27 it's going to be tough." Man, he's like a get off my lawn old man.
  9. I was waiting on that. Only so many times you can telegraph that pass. I love a good get right game. On the Bryce stuff. He is doing what he is supposed to do with the defense playing so well and the run game clicking. This is the kind of game you want from your offense to manage, especially since our margin for error is not that big. The same reason you can't give Bryce credit for all those yards last week between the 20's last week with the Cards playing soft zone is the same reason this week why you can't bag on Bryce for lower stats in this game with the way the game has gone.
  10. Dowdle needs to get better at pass pro. He's barely slowing down rushers or missing who is rushing on multiple downs where the other team is likely blitzing.
  11. No, it means Bryce was getting pressured, which is the idea on a screen pass, and he throws slightly lower to compensate for throwing off your back foot which has a tendency to sail. I'll take any pass 99% of the time that hits the receiver in the hands. But I do agree a perfect pass would have been a foot higher but a pro has to catch that.
  12. Do you ever post anything that isn't talking crap? Change your name to, "Yeah, but..." because no matter the success of the play you pop up like a bad rash.
  13. I'm just guessing without seeing the All-22 but Evero really likes to move players around and rotate into different coverage. We could be confusing the hell out of Penix.
  14. LOL. I wasn't the only one that did a double take. Stupid keep your shirt on stadium policy.
  15. Good half. A few holes on the run defense. A few off throws by Bryce...the one to Hunter I know he'd really want back. Tetairoa, run game and PA pass are the difference makers. Also, huge element of defense setting the tone and playing much, much better. ATL is doing us a favor by passing so much and living up to past Falcon missteps.
  16. Now, the Falcons are out here tackling their own players. I loooovveee it!!!
  17. Every holding call has been weak and sus. Damn. At least this wasn't a slip. He tripped on Cade's foot.
  18. For real. I blame the artificial turf. Kinda but that seems to be happening a lot. 3 times so far by my count.
  19. Exactly. If Renfrow was a foot taller, 50 lbs heavier, doubled his arm length and was born in Hawaii he'd be Nola.
