Im more in the 'wait for 23' crowd but this post has me thinking. Our 'best' situation might be to pick a QB this year and ride with him all year. Assuming we finish top somewhere in the 3-6 range, given the draft capital from the Eagles and Giants we might be in the best position to trade with them for a kings ransom... but only if we already have our QB. If we draft a QB this year we might be able to trade our 1st next year for a king ransom. -
Interesting rumor on the Saints forum.. Reason they are willing to trade next years 1st round pick is that they are certain that Sean Payton will return next year thus being able to get an additional 1st rounder for trading his rights.

I dont mind PFF. As fans we really only watch one team closely and then bitch about everything. PFF has guys that watch every game in detail and at least provides perspective. We might suck, but the 'suck' is relative.

Thats great. Its fun to find a game that is built well and enjoyable. So many games now come out half finished (I was a sucker that prebought Battlefield 2044 and Cyberpunk before that). Its a pleasure when you can just sit down and play an game and it works 'out of the box'

I got through the 1st 4 books on Audible. I enjoyed them but they can get a little long winded. But funny story... I used to used Audible a lot as I did a lot of travelling. Changed jobs, now I dont travel as much. I used to be on their monthly plan but my credit card expired but because was not looking for more books I didnt really care. Jump forward 8 months, I wanted a new book, so I updated my credit card and the app INSTANTLY purchased all the credits I missed over those 8 months. poo. Needless to say I now own the ENTIRE series on Audible.. 30+ hours per book.... Im going to need some time here!

ha! Ive been cheesing a rune farm (shooting the giant crow across the ravine) so im up to lvl 147 now. Now with a vigor of 65 I finally feel like I can go into boss battle on my own and have a chance. I'm playing a samurai melee build, but I need all the health I can get!

Is the Dream of one of the top 2 tackles dead?

Trade down, pick up a 2nd or 3rd and draft Linderbaum. -
Ok... I have changed my tune now.. I progressed a bit further into the game, found a rune farm and now dont die at EVERY encounter. Game is a lot more fun after you open it up, but that takes like 40 hours lol. Im having a great time now.

Honestly at this point and as good as he was and is, I think we need to get more reps to our young guys. We needed to retain him or Jackson, we kept Jackson, time to let Horn and Henderson get their reps.

Chris Simms top QB is Matt Corral and why you should listen
CanadianCat replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
When it comes to targeting franchise QB's in the draft I dont think you can afford to get cute and trade back. If Corral is 'the guy' you take him at 6. I dont thiink we should draft a QB this year. My strategy would be to try to bait a QB needy team into a haul of picks so we have ammo for next years QBs.. -
Baker and Jimmy G are still out there and there are few landing spots left. AFTER the draft they will have very little value. With Darnold we rushed and paid a premium. WFT rushed and paid 2 3rd's for Wentz while the Colts waited and paid one 3rd for Ryan who is WAY better. Our FO is playing this much better by waiting.

I LOVE dominion as well. We went to a game store and based on liking that game we were recommended The Quest for El Dorado. Its top notch. Its a great combo of trying to build the perfect deck (and not moving) vs moving and not growing your deck. If you like deck building games you WILL like this game.

Oof painful memories. I was ALL OVER the Clausen hype train.

I get that people like that its HARD. I think thats part of the 'flex' of the game that because you cannot adjust the difficulty. So if you are good, you are good! and I respect that. But Im a dad with a day job and I get limited time to play so when I play I like to enjoy myself. Maybe that makes me not as hardcore as some of you, and thats cool.

I have several friends that play that have helped me level up but if you rush dialog (when you are playing multiplayer) then you get completely lost. Its also not an engaging experience playing that game when you have to have a laptop open to figure out what to do... I know t=some people REALLY enjoy the game but Im having a hard time with it...
-
lol yeah you nailed it... 1st FromSoft game. got to admit.. I like games that tell me what to do haha. I can understand that people like HARD games tho...
-
I really like deck building games and The Quest for El Dorado is great cross between a racing game and a deck building game. I highly recommend

Smallworld is super fun.

Unpopular opinion here but this is my theory... No one likes this game. No quest markers, no quest log.. what the heck is going on!? People only say the like this game to sucker their friends into this endless pit of doom and death... The joy garnered from this game is from hearing your friends talk about how much they have died. This game is a multi level marketing scheme... you get recruited and then sucker your friends in to spread the 'joy' Full disclosure.. Im level 74 and played over 40 hours.. still not sure if im having fun yet..

I like you point but I would argue that we didnt 'mess up' the QB position. We didnt have one and we were not wanting to draft one so we took shots and guys that had potential. It was always a risk bringing in Darnold, it was never a guarantee that he would be good. It was a high upside low downside trade. A 2nd round pick is a low cost to pay for a potential franchise QB. I get people are upset that he didnt play good last year but our expectations should have always been low. I'm a believer is swinging for the fences on a QB till you find one and we have a team that does that. Thats a good thing.
