coach isnt playing qb

hard to judge the coach with a qb this bad. bryce is worse then most teams 3rd qb. basically the coach could throw an udrfa qb in and he would likely play as good if not better than bryce. on the plus side the wrs look good this year if xl gets it going will be set for the next qb

would be pointless this season is done he has no future growth potential would rather an udfa rookie qb...unleas they are planning to steal crablegs

youngs turnovers and 3 and outs really hurt the defense.

trade young for anything we could get....sanders.....and bring in some qbs avaiilable and just play rookie udfa qbs and or sanders rest of season see if any show any signs if not draft best qb this year maybe even 2 qbs this year

I agree he needs the chance to draft his own QB, and its really sad whoever made the decision to have 0 competition for young its just a terrible decision. Not even a developmental qb in the later rounds......sanders.....sanders....

He totally underestimated how limited bryces physical abilities are. Not saying he is a great coach just saying no coach on the planet succeeds in the nfl with bryce young at qb.

Canalas may be an amazing coach no one can tell with him forced to play the byoung qb card. He has to only call plays bryce can maybe throw so its probanly like 10%of his plays

I really think any byoung supporters left are just trolling. U cant watch him play and think he is nfl quality he just doesnt have the physical tools

I believe he knows bryce has severe limitations and can only execute specific plays and throws. Same issue every other nfl coach has had with him.

Those passes to Hunter were all begging to get him sent home on a stretcher, Everytime one went his way I held my breath.

All bryce needs to win games is for every other player on both offense and defense to play perfect, its really not his fault that every other player on the team is not a probowl player, he is an awesome qb everyone else just needs to play at 200% so everyone can see how great bryce is ahahahahah

I agree i am so sick of every reporter refusing to admit what we all see in the bryce sucks. I woild love to see an article written post game that says bryce as a qb is holding the panthers back

The real question is are there many qbs at all that have played worse than bryce has since he was drafted? Even the qbs taken after him that were benched already did they really play worse then he has? Or were there teams just more willing to admit failure.

100% agree the offense constantly puts the d in horrible positions. Give them a decent offense that isnt constantly turning the ball over and the defense would look alot better.

Until the panthers get a new qb its hard to decide on anyone. If Byoung goes someplace else and does amazing yeah all panthers coaches suck. If they succeed with a different qb then yeah young brought the entire team down. It reminds me of panthers teams in the past its almost impossible to win with a clausen or a wienke, in fact I remember them not even using a qb just running the wildcat and the panthers played better....the panthers may be reaching that point soon.

I has totally forgotten about the pic six that should have been. My post wasnt a byoung defense post he sucks. It was more of a statement of how if he had just not turned it over and the panthers had not traded theilen they probably would have won the game today against a terrible team. But looking at the game today I do feel the panthers have a good enough supporting cast that if they had a good qb would be a good offense.

If u take away the 2 young turnovers the score would have been 16 to 10 a much closer game. If u untrade theilen panthers would have probably won the game today. Also trever lawrence is not a good qb and the jags are not a good nfl team.

When bryce is playing bad which is 90% of the time he is on the field he could be surrounded by all probowl level players and the panthers would still loose he alone can make it and does make it impossible for the panthers to win games

Seemes bryce young directly cost the panthers the game today. His turnovers missed connections poor decisions was the difference. Neither qb played well one just limited mistakes.

100% the panthers are the team that everyweek make another teams average or even below average player look like hof not sure why but they just do.

Knee jerk reaction is gb got a great player but in actuality i have rarely if at all ever seen a trade like this work for the team giving up the pics. Seems theres all this hype then alot of time players get these huge contracts and let their foot off thr gas and coast...khalil mak is a recent one as well as of course watson

He was terrible but kyle allen after the first preseason game was playing very very high level. I still think with the right cast and protection kyle allen could be an above average qb in the nfl

He has looked worse than Bryce has looked on his worse days since entering the nfl, maybe he will do something for the panthers but trask or zappe woule have been preferred.

The standards of this team have fallen like a rock, if the qb throws for 150 yards and a td a game thats basically a panthers hall of famer in recent panthers world with any wins at all amazing. With all that being said AT did have like 75% of all the panthers receiving yards since he has been here, hopefully some of the other wrs step up.
