Late to see this news but wouldnt have minded howell trade at all. They basically got a qb who was leading the nfl in yards halfway through last year for almost nothing. I believe he starts for seattle at some pointhis year.

Your post had me curious so i looked up cam stats rushing compared to hill. Couldnt find a short yardage success rate for cam found hills around 79%. Who knows both very good at running cam def had the edge passing.

Leading the receiver towards the sideline allowing him to drag his feet and make the catch low and away . The pass was behind the wr causing him to try and stop or reach back making it a tough catch but still should have been caught . Tough throw also but one 1st overall pick should make. Both seem terrible maybe this year will be better if not both should be gone.

Fields has never averaged more than 200 passing yards a year....even with weapons and a good oline . Everyone that thinks fields is awesome just learned how awesome every coach in the nfl considers him...with all that said he still would possibly be an upgrade to b young.

Depends how you look at it he was 10th in the nfl in receptions. Out of thosd top ten in receptions he had 20 less targets than the closest wr in the top ten in receptions. His average was low but was inline with the rest of the panthers recievers. So it could be he had a great year with poor qb oline play or the qb was being held back by terrible wrs and oline play. This year will tell more. From what i saw of b youngs play i was amazed any of the recievers ever produced anything.

Adam thielen had a great year with terrible qb/oline play he will be a solid wr this year plus some more speed wr. Hw could probably find a better fit like kc or buff but would love him to be a panther

Yeah chase young didnt do anything knowing he was playing for a payday not sure what would motivate him after he gets paid

There is a new test they are having players have gps monitors on during route drills and gives them fastest playing speed data started just last year and rams good rookie wr had the best football speed during it

Good thing he got paid after a year blocking for young he will be talked about as one of thr worse guards in the league

Draft and trades are our only hope no decent offensive player will want to come play with young unless they drastically overpay them

Agree 100% and when reporters ask questions about any nfl player do they ever just say the player is terrible I cant remember that ever being an answer to a reporter. If it was all scheme and lack of talent then dalton would have looked terrible.

Well we wasted a 2 number 1 overalls and couple seconds and a probowl wr for young i mean at least a 6th rounded is normally wasted every year anyways and jones has shown more than young althouhh not much more

100% agree its like bc he can run the media hypes him nonstop. His stats are garbage passing wise with a good defense and good weapons. He just doesnt win.

Only way the panthers get any of the top wr free agents with young at qb is going to be to drastically overpay them. Young kills coaches receivers and olinemen.....

I would love frank reich to just spill all the dirt from how bad it was last year and through the draft but imagine since he is still on pay roll and probably keep quite is in his contract thst will never happen.

Draft WR & Oline sign the same in free agency. Let Byoung play all season. Finish with number one overall pick in 2025. Draft best QB.

All hypothetical but just looking at there first years as starter Howell 3950 21td 21int Young 2877 11td 10int. I know Howell may have had a worse Oline than Young had this year, and recievers are close with skill Wash maybe a little better. If I was in charge I would take the chance and switch even if we could but doubt Wash would go for it. As others has posted Howell has nfl arm strength and size you can maybe teach the rest....Young doesnt and you cant teach what he is missing.

He would be a great addition to the panthers but with Young as qb doesnt really matter who the WR are

maybe cam can try out for the UFC like greg hardy did hopefully will do better than hardy did though.
