We played like absolute garbage, couldn’t stop the run, and still came within a kicker kicking a 58 yard fg of winning. We’re exactly what I thought we were. A 6-7 win team that could go to 8-9 with decent oline play. We’re gonna win some games this year but we’re also gonna have some unwatchable games.

I think we split with each division opponent this year: 3 wins I think we beat Cleveland and the Giants: 2 wins We seem to own the cardinals: 1 win We should beat Seattle: 1 win We should win one game we’re not supposed too (I’ll say against the bengals): 1 win 8-9 is my vote.

He doesn’t. What he could have done was treat the 2nd preseason game like the dress rehearsal like most other teams due, which would have resulted in some of our 1’s getting work against another teams work in a live game setting. he’s inept in every facet and thankfully we are another day closer to him being relieved of his duties as head coach.

Just a comically bad coach at this point.

I’ve seen nothing to convince me that we aren’t a 5-8 win team. CMC staying healthy and an unexpected gelling of a young oline could push them to wildcard fringe. those two things go the other way, I honestly think we pick top five with a new coach in 2023.

Barno continues to stand out. He has a quick first step. If he can develop a little more power and technique, he could be a real good player for us.

He’s provided enough subject matter over two years to warrant all the bashing. those defending him are just doing so that on the off chance he catches some success, they can come back and say “see, I backed him all the way.”

Not a bust, but drafting him in the top ten is just another error in a long list of errors.

My gut says there’s gonna be a loud contingent calling for Snows head this year. This defense wasn’t that great last year. It masqueraded as a decent unit due to how inept the offense was. They don’t force turnovers and don’t stop the run. Couple that with the fact that we lost our second best (or you could probably make a good argument for best) pass rusher, and it’s gonna be a frustrating year. I expect a defense ranked somewhere between 14-20.

You don’t remember Richardson insulting Manning during the lock out? Andrew Luck staying in school when we had the first pick?

If you think a Manning would play for Carolina, you are kidding yourself.

I think we have a talented roster that could string together 7-8-9 wins. what we lack is a head coach. He alone will keep us in the 4-5-6 win range.

Jimmy G is a perfect qb to mentor Corrall for a year. The guy seems to always be on a winning team and has been around some of the best to ever do it. I wouldn’t expect him to come in here and set the world on fire but he is a definitive upgrade over Sam and a third round rookie. id expect us to be a fringe wildcard team if he were the starter, barring injuries or course.
