  1. Absolutely absurd. You KNOW a defensive player would've been fined for trying to twist a QB's foot off.
  2. This is what I like about Howell. So many questions have been answered. He checks the physical boxes. Would it be nice if he was taller? Sure. But he has the build. He has the arm. No, he doesn't have Elway's arm but his arm is good even at the NFL level. How does he respond when his team is outmatched? Check. How does he respond when his receivers are dropping balls? Check. How does he respond when his OL can't provide even minimal protection? Check. How does he respond when trailing? Check. Trailing big? Check. In crunch time in close games? Check. When the run game is struggling? Check. When he has to carry the entire offense? Check.
  3. I wish the deal would've gotten made on Monday so Cam could've been ready to go tomorrow.
  4. Cam floated Shula for five years. He hasn't sniffed an OC job since. I'd call that "saving".
  5. That was probably about the time the "Let's go Pats!" chants got going as the Panthers fans hit the doors leaving us outnumbered 5:1 vs. Pats fans.
  6. I'm hearing whispers that Sam Howell broke his collarbone on the final play of the game last night where the OL blocked literally no one. I have to point out the specific play since the OL blocking no one happened on most of the plays last night.
  7. When he comes out of that tunnel at BOA Panthers fans wall to wall going ape poo, then maybe then Tepper will realize what Cam meant to this franchise. Maybe Cam will be able to share with him what Keep Pounding has meant to this franchise. Maybe he'll realize that trying to scrap all the traditions played a big role in why we just played an away game vs. the Pats at BOA.
  8. I loved Wilson as a prospect but I thought playing him from day one was a mistake. There's a big jump from BYU to the NFL, especially when you're surrounded by a trash team. It's not like he went to a good team that was a QB away. He went to a dumpster fire.
  9. We'll see how it ultimately turns out but yeah, the early returns look like trash. There's gonna be a lot of frustrations in this year's draft thinking back on this trade and the Darnold trade as we watch two picks made in the 2nd and 3rd rounds by the Jets and Jags with enticing prospects for us left on the board.
  10. I just finished watching UNC play. Honestly, our OL seems pretty damn good now.
  11. From them obviously trying to win now trading away draft assets for players and it ending up in a dumpster fire. We're too down that hole now. The lie of the slow rebuild has been exposed.
  12. Yep. I've mentioned the numerous hospital balls numerous times. These WRs didn't just forget how to catch, they have their head on a swivel.
  13. We desperately need a QB and the best one available was also the one that would do the most to reignite the fanbase. One of those times where the best football decision was also the best PR/marketing decision. Don't think that Tepper failed to notice that the Pats just played a home game at BOA.
  14. At the game on Sunday numerous defensive players were talking to PJ while we had the ball. Seemed like everyone was anticipating the change that never came.
  15. Sam had no ceiling if you actually watched him play for the Jets.
  16. God, I love the taste of tears of the never Cam-ers. Please keep them flowing.
  17. I doubt he's all that unlikeable considering half the roster are guys he coached in college.
  18. This was the perfect opportunity. Darnold is injured and can is the best QB available. I don't think Tepper was blind to the reality that he basically watched his team play an away game in BOA on Sunday. This was also the best move he could make to bring the fans back.
