  1. Then let's hope we can trade him for literally anything. Conditional 7th rounder? Yes please.
  2. Good call. You don't want to end a great career looking like Drew Brees did this past Sunday.
  3. He's gotta go. Honestly, it should've happened a year ago.
  4. Releasing TB and trading TB is basically the same thing in terms of the cap.
  5. The Panthers have an overall record of 200-215-1. Our record with Hurney is 107-133. Our record without Hurney is 93-82-1. We are literally a losing franchise because of the Hurney eras. Outside of Marty Hurney years we are actually a winning franchise. For a brief period under Gettleman we became an all-time winning franchise, then we had Hurney 2.0 to put us a full winning season behind the 8 ball again.
  6. If we have a top 10 rookie sitting behind him, 8-10 depending on who that rookie is. If we have a non-stop 10 rookie sitting behind him, 6-7 if it's a 2nd-3rd rounder. 4-5 if it's a late rounder. If we have Teddy and spent the whole draft on non-QB positions...
  7. How many screen names will you burn through between now and then?
  8. Using as part of a trade package to get a 25 year old MVP caliber QB isn't quite "throwing away".
  9. Minimum medical suspension after any KO or TKO loss in the fight game is 45 days. There's a reason for that. There's probably more that we don't know about concussions than that we do. Most fighters don't get up after a KO/TKO wobbling around like a frat boy after a keg stand either.
  10. I hope he does. I'd like to watch him. But, unless the concussion was misdiagnosed (which is possible) he really shouldn't.
  11. We plugged in a JAG at RB and he still got 1000 all purpose yards. We'd still have two very good outside WRs and we could look for a RB in the 3rd or 4th.
  12. "Shedding" Teddy's contract creates a whopping $3M in cap space. Houston might take that deal, but they'd probably tell us to just keep Teddy.
  13. To be fair, that would be like forgoing Deshaun Watson at QB because you have Teddy Bridgewater.
  14. Gotcha. Yeah, it's a weird year. I don't even know what's going on anymore. LOL!
  15. If they do, I sure hope they're right. *pretty sure Jones is a junior though and not eligible for the Senior Bowl
  16. Well, I hope the plan isn't relying on drafting a Russell Wilson in the 3rd, because good luck duplicating that one.
  17. If a trade for Watson works out, great. If we land a QB at #8 or a trade up, great. If we do neither, that's when I'll start the teeth gnashing.
  18. This is why the Dolphins passed on Drew Brees. I'm sure they're not nearly as smug in hindsight.
  19. How'd it go after Burns though? Typical Hurney draft. Impact 1st rounder followed by hot steaming trash.
  20. I hope he's right. Jimmy was a helluva coach and one of the biggest reasons why Jerry is a moron was letting his ego make him force Jimmy out. He just couldn't stand for a coach to be stealing what he thought should've been his glory.
  21. Me too. If we're out of the mix and I'm watching as a pure casual observer, I wanna see the best players on the game out there. Ultimately, I wanna see Mahomes and Rodgers duke it out in the SB.
  22. Average stay in the protocol is 19 days and you rarely see an NFL player getting up wobbling like a fighter that just got KO'd .
  23. Gotta give credit where credit is due, when @Zod goes all in on something, he goes ALL IN.
  24. People really need to stop with this narrative that Teddy would be a part of the deal. These other NFL teams saw him play too. God pity that PR person. Yeah, I know we traded Deshaun Watson, but allow me to introduce... TEDDY BRIDGEWATER!!!!
  25. What are the Texans going to do, jail him? Everything is outlined by the contract and the CBA. Watson has done nothing to violate his contract.
