  1. I just don't want any part of Jimmy G. Baker probably won't work out either but at least he is young and has real talent and two years ago looked like an up and coming legit QB. There's a chance he would work out. Jimmy G... there's just nothing there. The only way I would want him is if we're very sold on Corral being the long-term answer and value Jimmy G as a veteran mentor and placeholder. The question is what is that worth on trade compensation and cap hit?
  2. For someone who supposedly doesn't care you sure are stanning awfully hard. Good for McAfee. Make that money. Mouth breathers count in the ratings to sell to advertisers just the same.
  3. Just a word of warning, Timbertech scratches really easily. Trex doesn't.
  4. Yeah, use regular pressure treated but put the trex tape over them. Don't skip this step or your frame will 100% rot out from under your decking. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Trex-50-ft-Deck-Tape/5013300481 Nah, he's western NC based by appreciate it anyway.
  5. Trex barely costs more than pressure treated pine these days and this new pressure treated lumber doesn't last for poo.
  6. My dad is a contractor. Decks are tripled right now vs. two years ago. It's just material costs. He's not making a dime extra. He'll straight up tell people that they're better off waiting. Hell, even if you wanna do it he's booked 5-6 months out.
  7. Hell, I don't blame McAfee. Hence why I said good for him and mocked his listeners. I honestly had no idea there were so many grown ass man tank top wearers feeling the need to stan for Pat McAfee.
  8. It's both. Basically admitting you're willing to look the other way if the skill part of the equation is right and stupid because the Panthers think putting up this front about Mayfield will make folks forget about them being just fine with bringing on Watson and all his baggage when all it does it does is highlight it IMO. Every article after a trade for Mayfield would remind folks about the Panthers striking out on the Watson sweepstakes, especially since Watson is a Brown.
  9. Unless it's absolutely necessary I'd wait on significant remodeling. Building materials are still high as a giraffe's ass.
  10. I think the Mayfield/Browns bridge is thoroughly burned. I'd be surprised if the Browns haven't also been expecting this outcome with Watson. The Panthers extremely inadvertently dodged a massive bullet. I expect the Browns to just roll with Brissett as their starter this year and I'm sure he'd be thrilled with the opportunity.
  11. How many times have you been banned?
  12. Ours is a shade under $1500 but we put 20% down. I would've put more but with rates so low why bother? I'd rather have the extra liquidity. On our first house in CO I think we paid about three months of PMI on a 3% down mortgage. We pretty much immediately got it reappraised and refinanced dropping PMI and getting a better rate. Shaved off about $300 a month.
  13. Yeah, you can't try desperately for a year to trade for "Ole Rub 'n Tug" then act like you care about doing due diligence on a player's character.
  14. I was just doing the math on the house I bought just 13 months ago. With just the rate increase my mortgage would be 60% higher today. With the rate increase and the likely 20% more I could currently get for it my mortgage would be about 125% higher. Oh wee mayne.
  15. You don't earn three straight five win seasons by making smart decisions. They're desperate to save their jobs. They're not going to rely son Sam Darnold and a 3rd round rookie to do it.
  16. I'd just feel a lot better if Rhule would defer to the OL coach on the specific lineup. It seems like he defers almost completely to Snow in terms of the defensive lineup. Do the same elsewhere. Don't fuging micromanage everything. You hired these guys to do a job. Let them do their job. If you don't think an OL coach is capable of determining the appropriate lineup then he probably shouldn't be your OL coach.
  17. We might trade for Mayfield today. Unless we don't, in which case we might trade for Mayfield tomorrow or some other day.
  18. 6'4", 34" arms. Prototypical OG.
  19. He's from Pittsburgh. He just acts like he's from Jersey.
  20. Not gonna lie, pretty cool helmet. I don't really care about anything other than our performance on the field right now. We can go out there wearing uniforms that look straight out of Pop Warner for all I care. I just want to see the Panthers playing competitive football again.
  21. Says the guy whose shtick sucks so bad that he gave up his old screen name to try to start over. Hi there @Moo Daeng!
  22. Based on this brainiac crew... well, it wouldn't be shocking.
  23. This. We're eating Sam's cap hit no matter what. If we get the Browns to eat a good chunk of Mayfield's salary and it costs us a mid-rounder to kick the tires on a former #1 overall pick who a couple of years ago looked like an up and coming elite young QB then do it. God knows the Panthers have pissed away mid-round picks and/or a few mil in cap space on a helluva lot worse investments than that.
