  1. Probably. I hope their evaluation is right but I really don't think it is.
  2. Damn. Looks like the Watson saga might trigger QB changes on both the Browns and Falcons. But honestly, the Falcons should've been doing this at least a year ago. Ryan is still a good QB but the Falcons are trash. They should've been unloading his cap hit and getting resources for the rebuild that everyone else could see was needed.
  3. Based on our past QB moves, I have to admit that doing nothing might be the best course of action because what we usually do is choose the dumbest possible option available.
  4. I think a B is fair overall. Our biggest glaring need is QB and we've done nothing there so far so pretty much impossible to go any higher than a B. But I do like what we've done with the rest of the roster.
  5. Given the recent injury issues I just gave no idea what his value is. I'm sure we listened to any offers and probably made some calls to try to drum up some. But at the end of the day I'd much rather hang onto him and hope he can overcome the injury issues than basically give him away for a mid-round pick.
  6. Don't worry. We don't make smart decisions at the QB position. No chance of this happening.
  7. Take a break, man. No one cares that a couple of people are pooing your posts and we sure as hell don't need a thread dedicated to it.
  8. Give up, man. Watson got everything he wanted.
  9. It's over, man. He forced his way out to the team (or more like contract) of his choice just like everyone told you he would.
  10. In terms of recovery, it is. What kinda sucks is that he's basically a redshirt rookie next year having gone through a camp and preseason but only a couple of real games before getting hurt. It is what it is though. But yeah, in terms of recovery time he should be plenty ready to go for camp. Had we been in the playoff chase it's possible he could've even returned late last season.
  11. This year's 4th is roughly gonna be equal to next year's 3rd in terms of trade value. Hell, they might even prefer this year's 4th since it's immediate and high in the round.
  12. Oddly enough he was as a rookie. He never was again though.
  13. I'd be fine with bringing Minshew in as a stopgap for the right price. The right price for me maxes out at next year's 3rd.
  14. I agree Lamar is no Cam but he's definitely no Darnold either. There's a lot of room in between and Lamar is there, granted a lot closer to the Cam side of the spectrum than the Darnold side.
  15. I was simply responding to your statement that he's not much of any better than what we currently have. That was an absurd statement.
  16. They may be, but the point remains. Lamar is in a different universe vs. Sam Darnold and PJ Walker.
  17. If you don't want Lamar, okay fine. But he's MILES better than what we currently have. You're talking about a former MVP still in his prime vs. the worst NFL starting QB in recent years.
  18. That's what you hope. Or he could show up looking 37 years old.
  19. I'm not talking about missing games, I'm talking about rapidly decking physical ability.
  20. He was. That's why it baffles me that our fans and seemingly our staff think he's a slam dunk to transition to LG and be successful. His biggest weakness (quite literally) is his playing strength. That'll be a bigger issue at OG going up against primarily interior DTs than it was at LT going up against primarily edge rushers.
  21. I agree. I think we should stay away. I'd honestly rather just play Christensen at LT. Like I said, Whitworth is a unicorn. Very, very few OTs remain effective in their late 30s. Maybe Brown can overcome Father Time too but IMO you gotta play the odds on these decisions and the odds are pretty heavily against it.
  22. Yeah, I think those numbers are a pipedream.
