    That the NFL never addressed that to my knowledge is absurd. Especially considering that was the season that blows to the head of a QB became a primary focal point. Then they let the Broncos great Cam Newton's head like a piñata in SB50 without a flag in sight. And just for good measure, again in week one the following season.

    That's why drafting one is so appealing. An elite QB on a rookie contract is the closest thing to a cheat code that exists in the modern NFL.

    Are we supposed to settle for nothing less than GOAT level QB play? Should the Chargers castoff Herbert because he isn't Mahomes? I mean, if they're so inclined I'd gladly oblige them.

    I'm honestly not sure if D.J. would've even been signed as a UDFA. Dude looked legitimately terrible. He's probably headed to a non-P5 school because I'm not sure there's a P5 team out there that will guarantee him a starting spot.

    Tepper has to convince me that HE isn't the biggest problem.

    I very seriously doubt Tepper is going to make another ground breaking wild splash with his next head coach move after the last one blew up in his face and made him look like a total clown. If we win the division it's gonna be Wilks. It's the quiet, safe move and the media will heap praise on him for hiring a minority candidate who got screwed over in his first HC gig.

    The Payton pipedream has to stop. One, the Saints aren't dealing him within the division. Two, Sean Payton is going to have MUCH better option available.

    Is there a college coach out there who is winning a lot of games at a mid-tier program but can't beat any ranked teams and whose coaching basically boils down to being a high school motivational speaker type? Because that's probably our guy.

    We'd be hiring a minority candidate. How would we be violating the Rooney Rule requiring minority candidates to be interviewed by literally HIRING a minority candidate? I get that a lot of rules can have some truly dumbass fine print involved but that one would take the cake.

    Wilks with a new OC very well might be our best option. I really don't see guys with other options lining up to coach for David Tepper and I don't see him spending lavishly again to outbid everyone else after having that approach blow up in his face last time around.
