  1. Just over $6mil a year. Not a bargain, but not bad.
  2. He’s Chuba if Chuba knew how to run and catch better. Chuba’s probably gone after this, Foreman could still stay though. They’d be complementary backs
  3. Person with very Personal style journalism. Speculating and then having to walk it back because he was talking out of his ass. Doubt anything is decided yet with Foreman
  4. Some viewing material. He’s shifty with good speed and great vision
  5. Now that’s an interesting signing. Wonder what this means for Foreman. I could easily see us keeping both and cutting Chuba
  6. Newton says we’re not signing him today but discussions are ongoing and could still happen
  7. My favorite slang I learned while living in Australia was “ranga” for “ginger”. Short for orangutan.
  8. No, I got it. I’m just saying our skill positions with the new QB will be better than those more talented guys we had with the old QBs. Not to mention the impact of coaching
  9. Ian Rappaport wouldn’t have any clue. Either he’s trolling, wishful thinking or drunk. Or some combo of the above.
  10. Stroud, Foreman and Hurst >>> Baker/Darnold, CMC and Moore
  11. Eh, I think we compete for the division this year, maybe win it, maybe Carr extends the Saints’ relevance a little. But we should definitely dominate the NFCS next year and be a contender for the whole NFC. At least a playoff win or two.
  12. Would be great to get him, but I’d rather have Thielen and/or Chark if it came down to only getting one or two of them
  13. I mean A) he’s a little bitch and B) I was just using him as an example. He’s already old and broke, and even though he and Thielen are around the same age, OBJ’s game was the type that disappears quicker than someone like Thielen. Not to mention he was reportedly wanting $20mil a year, and if it’s even half that it’s too much for him.
  14. Yea, a reliable handed vet is exactly what we need. Better than an old and broke former big play superstar like OBJ, I’d love it if we could land Thielen (dependable) and Chark (big play potential, still young). Swap out one DJ for another heh.
  15. If I recall correctly Hartsfield was really bad. “Started x games” isn’t exactly a huge pro when you were bad in those starts.
  16. Heh yea that definitely caught my attention too. I’d agree with you on all your points, I think Simms was just caught up in the moment lol. I like Stroud maybe 10% more than Lawrence, but Young is more like 75% more than Wilson
  17. I was joking obviously, and I was on the Howell bandwagon last year, but he hasn’t shown anything yet. We’ll see. In seriousness I’d say he’s looked like the smartest kid on that short bus draft class for now.
  18. Certainly did not lol. I was just coming back to mention Simms has made some good calls in the past heh. I think last year was just one of the worst QB years ever. Like the Josh Freeman and EJ Manuel years
  19. Nobody is right all the time, and he hasn’t been proven wrong yet, Corral hasn’t had a chance to prove whether he’s better than the other trash that was taken last year. Could argue he is the best of that class just by not playing and proving that he can’t lol
  20. Another interesting nugget, Chris Simms says Stroud is the #1 and it’s not even close. Says Lawrence vs Wilson, Burrow vs Herbert, Mayfield vs Josh Allen were closer than Stroud vs Young.
  21. They talk about other stuff too. Just thought Florio’s whining at the beginning was funny, like this trade was set up for him and the media to have something to talk about.
  22. Even in his “worst” game he was great, just that flip int was even partially his fault. Otherwise even if Young might be better at those scrambling schoolyard plays, he also can’t make those ridiculous throws you see Stroud make routinely. His throwing ability is just insane.
