  1. Same as I’ve felt since halfway through the season. Pretty strongly for Stroud but won’t be mad if it’s Young.
  2. It’s funny, in another thread someone was saying our #1 need by far is WR and here you’re saying some people are saying we have the makings of an elite offense. I’m with you, they’re good enough for now. We don’t need to draft any particular position, but we can certainly upgrade and start building for the future as the opportunities present themselves. With Stroud or maybe Young, with this OL and talent at skill positions I can see us realistically ranking 12-18 in offense in year one. A huge improvement, but not elite yet. Once our QB gets a couple years and we refresh the skill groups over the next couple drafts, then we might be ready to be elite thanks to the OL and foundation building done this year.
  3. I’d prefer a TE, but I’ve seen Ojulari mentioned in that area a lot so I have to assume he’s a solid prospect. Wouldn’t be mad, not having done any research on him myself.
  4. Because 185 is what he actually played at, not 205 which is just what he artificially got up to temporarily and didn’t even perform simple drills at. Might he be able to crest 200 and actually play at it in the NFL with NFL resources at his disposal? Maybe.
  5. I don’t really like white as a major color either but it’s good as a trim. I want black and blue to be 90% of the colors on the uniform. Home: blue, away: black
  6. Lol anything is better than silver helmets. On us, the cowboys, the patriots, anyone. It’s just fuging hideous. Like wearing tinfoil hats. Just call us the Carolina Ufologists.
  7. Yep. Just need to throw some pink slashes, lighten the blue to more of a sky blue and keep the silver. Look like the intro to saved by the bell
  8. DJ playing to his new fans was fine, what I found to be weird was the pouty “they didn’t want me” angle. It was obviously not true, and even more blatantly so now with this new claim by his agent.
  9. Lol I’ve always hated the silver. Always hated our helmets. Been begging for at least the helmets to change for forever
  10. Thank God we’re dropping the silver. That’s all I really care about. I’m sure it’ll look great.
  11. Heh same. Skated through high school getting all As. Got to college and didn’t know how to study or apply myself. Resulted in a 20 year career in the military lol.
  12. My only real hangup on him is his poor accuracy. He just doesn’t put the ball in good locations for his receivers and that’s a difficult skill to acquire after a QB is already in the NFL. I’m sure with practice he could rein in the wild throws he’s prone to a bit, but I don’t think he’ll ever be a ball placement specialist and likely won’t ever be above average at throwing catchable balls in stride where only his receiver can make a play on it. That’s way more important to me than running ability. Cam’s running ability was just icing on the cake, it was his deep balls and ability to make throws like that matrix throw TD to Dickson against Atlanta, while still being most consistent on other passes that allowed him to be successful. His biggest knock as a thrower was an occasional high pass, but they weren’t much more common than the other great QBs.
  13. As long as Stroud isn’t a dumbdumb, a couple points on a test like this don’t make a difference. Still much prefer Stroud but I’d be fine with Young.
  14. I don’t think anyone is under any kind of excessive pressure. Reich is brand new, he has plenty of leash, Fitterer has been killing it, Tepper is the boss and has been doing well too. But if I had to choose one, it’d be the QB because just getting started in the NFL is pressure enough, with the added expectations from being #1.
  15. Lol. That gif is called the spinaroonie. Should be enough
  16. I had the same thought. Considering buying a CJ jersey immediately if we get him. Might not though, I’ve only ever bought one rookie’s jersey and it didn’t turn out well…just one hint:
  17. I agree, I’ve been saying it. I liked Lawrence, but CJ is on another level. His kind of accuracy is uncommon. Especially with no other flaws to speak of, just a couple areas that are less than amazing.
