Panthers terminating Rock Hill project agreements
Jon Snow replied to Dorian Gray's topic in Carolina Panthers
The SC legislator they stuck a microphone in front of said "they built an interchange to nowhere" so I assume it had to do with that. -
Ah the annual safety wish list. Yet they never draft one, much like a LT.

The blame game is now in full force. SC politicians are blaming Tepper for taking 80M of their money. Called him a "narcissistic ego driven" owner who has billed the taxpayer's for 80 million. This is going to get interesting. This was on the local SC news station just now. -
Well Sam technically is until they get someone to replace him.

Discussion: The Panther Decision involving Baker
Jon Snow replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
If they throw in a 3rd this year and a 2nd next I would take him and his contract for 1 year. This season is going to be a spectacle anyway so why not bring in another clown to squeeze into Teppers clown car. -
Panthers terminating Rock Hill project agreements

My take it was an agreement to reimburse Tepper for building the infrastructure the state would take over. Otherwise they would get it for free, much like NC does on smaller developments. Something on this scale is a small city. The town would make money off the utilities and from taxes levied on everyone but Tepper. I'm sure I'm missing a lot of benefits to the county and state to line their pockets. But it's not unusual. -
What are some positives to come out of the Tepper era?

That culture thingy working 1000%. Or is the "Brand". Jeans Friday. Wait, that was the last guy. -
I honestly hadn't heard of half the guys he mentioned that we signed. I'm getting old. I get what he's saying and if it works they may just might make it work. They have edge rushers, they just haven't gotten much playing time for one reason or another. Depth is an issue as he repeatedly said. So have I by the way. The war of attrition is a big factor in success.

I hope that's a smokescreen. If not, expect to get ran all over.

I would be the happiest drunk SOB in the joint. I would dance my ass off if he miraculously took this team to the NFC championship game... But then I woke up.

Panties are in a wad over a press conference that has no informational value to anyone on purpose. Grab the pitch forks because he didn't bash Sam.

Tepper is probably getting ready to sue RH for breach of contract. -
Something we have not seen in many moons.

"What are we doing in the draft" 2022 edition.
Jon Snow replied to Verge's topic in Carolina Panthers
No fan want Sam. Some fans want Sam to start to rub it in Rhules face. They will probably get to see that unless Fitterer can pull a qb out of his ass. -
Potential yes, depth no. You would also be putting 2 essential rookies on the blind side. Not that the pros they had were any better but you get the idea. I think they start Elflein at LG to start the season if Christensen is starting at LT, like that will help. I hope they work in Brown as soon as possible.

Now let's not go crazy here. We are not set on the line by any means. That NC State kid is a mountain of a man that you cannot pass on.

Of course there are those that want to stick with Sam. That's only because of the choices we have been presented so far. I understand the logic behind it and I agree that it has merit given the most logical fate of next season. Call it tank or whatever but it is probably going to happen under a qb not named Sam Darnold anyway. -
Brown played LG the most in college. He's a massive beast of a man.
