    Bridge qbs keep you mired in mediocrity. That's all we've had since we lost Cam. It's time to suck it up and start the draft pick or Corrall and move on. Let the chips fall where they may.

    I agree but we have neither. Burns in my book is just another rotational end. He's just not worth paying top 10 salary to keep. You will never convince me otherwise.

    It's a terrible job to take. But coaches have egos so someone will be crazy enough to think they can do it and take the job. In other words someone will look at it and say hold my beer.

    No just 2. I still don't think we really have any to speak of. I don't count Burns as any better than the other guys trying to play end for us. It's just not good enough.

    Well, considering as he gets to keep most of the money who wouldn't take the job. I mean if you gave me a huge bonus and an increase in pay you can fire me before the ink dries if I still get to keep the money.

    I've been saying this from day one. Play the rookie (whoever it is) and take your lumps. Forget the bridge qb BS. If the rook bombs you are in a good spot to take another shot in the next draft. Rinse and repeat until one sticks.
