    Welsh gets the win. That's more than I can say about the utter collapse of the team in what I consider to be a lack of coaching and leadership. I'll have much more to say about this when I'm not borracho y loco on tequila and beer. The head coach and anyone with a letter on his sweater should shoulder the blame for this disgraceful performance.

    Best I can do down here in the Caribbean is watch The Score app. No TV coverage here. Not to mention I forgot to set up my international plan. But 8 SOG in the first 5 minutes and basically nothing since.... c'mon.

    Pyotr is unhinged, as they say, and as unconventional a goalie as there may be in the league. Martin, on the other hand, may be the best goalie on the roster tight now.

    TDL means nothing at this point. KK is a cap anchor that's preventing any cap flexibility. One of those spite moves making a QO to land him is costing the team now. Not heard anything to suggest either Pesce or Skjei in play.

    Sitting in RDU @ 4:30AM waiting on our flight to Charlotte and on to the Dominican for a week of doing nothing. Stayed in Raleigh last night and watched the game at the Briercreek Ale House. No fans there to watch except us. 3 hours of sleep and here I am! We'll be keeping an eye on the games!

    As I stated in another thread, if the Canes continue playing as they have since the Florida game, they'll lose tonight and again in Winnipeg. Not discounting Columbus, either, especially after the beating they handed the Rags. So, yeah. Pull your heads out of your asses or find yourself on the wrong end of a 5-game losing streak.

    He's a hired thug and knows what his job is. The Rags didn't bring him up for his scoring prowess.

    I'm outta here for the Caribbean for the next 3 games. I'll miss the Minnesota, Columbus and Winnipeg games, but I'll keep track while I'm consuming cocktails on the beach. Probably a good time to get away. The way the Canes are playing, they'll lose to Minnesota and Winnipeg.

    I'd move up Bunts or Noesen and move TT down to the 2. I liked Fast on the 1 Thursday against Florida.

    I think Noesen is wasted with Drury and KK. The only true net-front pest on the roster, all of his goals come from inside 6 feet. But it seems like he's not scored at all since dropping him to the 4th line.
