  1. Campbell's final mock (he has inside sources) has the Panthers locked in on whoever is left of Ekonwu, Neal, Cross in that order (This is if they stay at 6.)
  2. The actual inside bowl and suites are fine.....its the concourse and food/drink options that are horrible and way behind almost every other stadium
  3. Charlie Campbell is saying Evan Neal could fall out of the top 10, with several teams having a "do not draft" flag on him
  4. Peter Vecsey has lost all credibility years ago. I wouldn't take anything he says seriously. However I can see Kupchak retiring and becoming an advisor like Jerry West
  5. Some candidates to think about Quin Snyder - will be highly sought after if he and the Jazz part ways, especially by Lakers Sam Cassell - hot assistant rising up the ranks and apparently a good leader, but no HC experience Jerry Stackhouse - took over a bad Vandy program and made them respectable, apparently a good leader Juwan Howard - huge risk/reward Mike D'Antoni - tends to flame out quickly but could be good here after always being in high profile stops Mike Brown - I can't stand this guy but has coached good defenses Frank Vogel - despite this season is known for defensive schemes Phil Handy - darkhorse candidate in the mold of Borrego, player development, long time assistant Kenny Atkinson - wouldn't mind him David Fizdale - seems like an asshole Jared Dudley - would be a shocker but is a very smart player and well liked Adrian Griffin - would love this hire, Nurse lead assistant and the Raptors play hard Alvin Gentry - no from me dawg Mark Jackson - no thank you Scott Brooks - no Steve Clifford - lol Dave Joerger - wouldn't mind one bit Terry Stotts - possible but would prefer other candidates There are only going to a few openings this offseason (Kings, Lakers are definite - Jazz, Hornets, Knicks are possible but not very likely) so now would be the time, there are a bunch of candidates looking and we'd get a good deal My favorites from this list are Snyder, Cassell, Atkinson, Griffin, and Vogel
  6. Posting what I posted somewhere else Borrego lost the team. He had really strange rotations, subbing players in and out multiple times a quarter. He load managed players minutes in an elimination playin game. He made no adjustments, even saying after the elimination game they didn't do anything different they did the first time when they beat Atlanta. Kai and Bouknight came in and made some good plays, (Bouk in particular played well when Covid struck), but then didn't see the floor for the next 18 games in a row, even though they played very negative players like Oubre and Plumlee/Harrell in front of them. He played PJ at center for most of his career, then when finally forced to play him at the 4, PJ plays very well and looks like the player we drafted. I also don't think this is a win-now move. I think the team will just respond better to a Sam Cassell/Adrian Griffin type or an established coach with playoff wins. Borrego is great at developing, but terrible at actual in game coaching, similar to Nash. Also, it stings because the job was down to Udoka and Borrego and the team picked Borrego Actually excited for this move. I think Charlotte has some talented players that will blossom with the right system and playing time.
  7. Baker is 100% better than Darnold, I don't know how anyone can not argue that. For one, Baker has actual testicles. However I am not trading any picks for him. They can have Darnold and one of our midtier players
  8. Baker is better than Sam, but not enough to have both on the roster or give up any pick for him
  9. Holy poo the draft should have been weeks ago so we can stop with these horrible threads
  10. You can't develop height. He's nowhere near Russell Wilson or Drew Brees level as a passer to make up for it. Not even Kyler Murray's level
  11. So it's an 800M project, Rock Hill bids 250M to have it in Rock Hill becuase they really want it there, they make a deal with the team, they renege, and somehow Tepper is the scummy person here
  12. There is no way you can tell me Pickett is a better prospect than Gardner Minshew. Just trade for Minshew man. Minshew behind a great offensive line (taking LT at 6) with CMC, Moore, and Robby, its a no brainer
  13. Charlie Campbell is still hearing Pickett at 6. He has an inside source and has called the last 4 picks correctly + also said the Panthers didn't like Slater last year before the draft despite looking for a LT He is saying Rhule will convince them on Pickett because if he plays well it will save his job (I really hope this isn't the case)
  14. Yeah don't have a problem with this... Tepper has been very vocal about getting a top 10 guy since he bought this team, came close twice, which is what every team should be striving for
  15. Holy poo dude, they chose this. They wanted it there, so they made that deal
  16. You should have just yelled Tachdown at him
  17. This whole damn draft process takes forever. The draft should have happened last week. Time to move on with our lives
  18. Look at it this way Would you rather have Neal/Ikonwu and Anthony Richardson Or Malik Willis and Anthony Richardson We draft Malik, we are likely drafting top 3 and taking a QB anyway
  19. I agree with you, doesn't stop the fact that people were practically blowing him that 2012-13 season when he turned into Riverboat Ron and pretended like they didn't just absolutely hate him when they started 0-2, moderators included
  20. I'm not impressed by Rhule but it will be funny when all these people walk back their takes and pretend it never happened if Rhule ends up winning, just like they did with Ron Rivera
  21. I beg of them to take the best DE/OT/DT/OG at 6, then wait til next year and take the franchise QB in a much better draft You guys will bitch because you all have the patience of a 2 year old, but it's the best direction for the team
  22. I'm pretty sure Rhule knows why they lost lately. They outright blamed the shitty QB play, which is true...we haven't had a top 25 NFL QB since he's been here. No one can win with that
  23. Jacksonville had a poo ton of cap this season and...well...did they really get better? I used to be a cap space nazi, but not anymore. It's all about drafting right and getting a franchise QB
  24. Uhh that just looks like he's tired not drunk, from everything I've read he pretty much does nothing but work on football
  25. I think they will take Ekwonu or Neal if they are available, then trade for Mayfield during the draft.... if they aren't, they'll trade down and take whoever QB is left out of Pickett/Willis/Corral to get extra second day picks (hopefully two of them)
